Honest!!!! We had a simple problem that could have been worse. Fixed while we waited and charged a minimal fee. Will only use this facility, very happy!

Our family goes nowhere else when it comes to cars. Sounds like we're related. We are not. AFTER SPEAKING WITH THEIR HEAD MECHANIC, WE HAD OUR ROLLS ROYCE DELIVERED TO CARRIAGE HOUSE ON APRIL 4, 2013. HE INFORMED US HE WAS AN “EXPERT” AND THAT OUR MECHANICAL ISSUE (THE ALTERNATOR WAS NOT CHARGING) WOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM. HE WANTED $1,000 UP FRONT FOR A “DIAGNOSIS”. WE GAVE HIM THE MONEY. IN MID-MAY HE SAID HE NEEDED MORE TIME AND MONEY. WHEN WE WERE HESITANT, HE TOLD US THAT THE DIAGNOSIS HAD NOW BECOME A MATTER OF “PRIDE” TO HIM AND THAT HE WOULD NOT CHARGE US ANYMORE MONEY. HE WENT SO FAR AS TO TELL US THAT HE HAD A GROUP OF HIS MECHANICS WORKING ON THEIR “OWN TIME” TO ASSIST HIM IN FINDING OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS. HE HELD THE CAR UNTIL JULY 9, 2013 AND WHEN WE ARRIVED TO PICK UP THE CAR (ANOTHER FLAT BED RIDE!), WE HAD TO SIGN A RELEASE. TO THIS DAY HE STILL HAS NOT GIVEN US A DIAGNOSIS AS TO WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THE CAR. HOWEVER, WE SHOULD NOTE THAT WHEN WE WENT TO PICK UP THE CAR, IT HAD BEEN FRESHLY WASHED. WE SENT THE CAR TO PATRICK’S IN SIMSBURY, CT. AFTER TWO DAYS IN HIS SHOP, OUR CAR WAS REPAIRED AND IN FANTASTIC WORKING ORDER. IN THE FUTURE, IF WE WANT THE WORLD’S MOST EXPENSIVE CAR WASH, WE WILL SEND OUR CAR TO CARRIAGE HOUSE.

I absolutely love JC. They've provided consistent, reliable service for my car since I moved to the area. They have saved me tons of money- typically in situations where my dealership tries to upsell an unnecessary service not warranty covered. Recently, they looked at a used dealer car I was interested in buying- and found a few potentially costly issues with the vehicle, that were then taken care of by the dealer.
