A rarity especially in Hunts Point. My mechanic retired after 25 years with him and I've been looking for a place I can trust to take my car for anything I may need. I hope I found the place. Avoid at all costs. I've been around mechanics and shops all of my life - and I went there to remove a piece of my exhaust and replace it with a new piece. I was told $75 (most places charge $50 for this so it's a bit high but I said ok) - they did the work then said it was $175. I went to the mechanic who did the work and he verified that the owner said $75. SCAM ARTISTS - There are a bunch of other shops in the area that are much better - avoid this place. Work that they did was decent but if you are going to lie about it doesn't matter how good the work is that you are doing.

Lance and his small team of mechanics, while all being quite young - are the real-deal - they have turned their personal passions for Subaru (all models & generations) - in to a business - making them a real specialty shop for virtually all your Subaru Auto needs. Don't get me wrong, they are not a 1-trick pony though - they service virtually all makes and models... I've recently had them address various items on my '15 WRX, including the subject Clutch & Flywheel Upgrade, perform an EGR delete, swap plugs, weld/repair a broken exhaust flange plate (which I thought for sure was unfixable without a new plate - Warren is a talented Genius welder) & Tim is a talented Dyno Tuner, (thanks to dyno time at Chameleon Racing in Bohemia). The entire team at Larsen's are super friendly, happy to share educated advice, sharp at finding issues and remedying them - all without charging an arm and a leg. Super flexible too - one of the best experiences I've had with an auto shop in my life - I currently travel over 35miles just to get my car worked on by them... The address listed is outdated: they are located at 26 Potter Ave, Patchogue, NY. This shop has terrific mechanics, fair prices, and they stand by their work. We have been bringing our cars there for 20 years. They complete the work quickly and are absolutely trustworthy.
