There’s a modest white barn on Medford Avenue where the cars all leave looking and sounding better than when they arrived. It’s the home of Larsen Autoworks, where owner and ASE-certified master technician Don Larsen and his son Lance revel in making everyday vehicles sparkle and purr. Major repairs, detailing, and oil changes are all within their wheelhouse, and the shop also offers select accessories for sale.

ACT Xtreme Clutch & Flywheel Upgrade for 15+ WRX
If you're tired of getting robbed for your automotive needs or getting less than you paid for - then this is the place for you. Lance and his small team of mechanics, while all being quite young - are the real-deal - they have turned their personal passions for Subaru (all models & generations) - in to a business - making them a real specialty shop for virtually all your Subaru Auto needs. Don't get me wrong, they are not a 1-trick pony though - they service virtually all makes and models... I've recently had them address various items on my '15 WRX, including the subject Clutch & Flywheel Upgrade, perform an EGR delete, swap plugs, weld/repair a broken exhaust flange plate (which I thought for sure was unfixable without a new plate - Warren is a talented Genius welder) & Tim is a talented Dyno Tuner, (thanks to dyno time at Chameleon Racing in Bohemia). The entire team at Larsen's are super friendly, happy to share educated advice, sharp at finding issues and remedying them - all without charging an arm and a leg. Super flexible too - one of the best experiences I've had with an auto shop in my life - I currently travel over 35miles just to get my car worked on by them... Great Mechanic
The BEST mechanics I've ever been to on Long Island. If you've gone through the Pep Boys and other shops and been left feeling swindled, this is the place for you. The staff is courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and will explain the repair process to customers that may be unfamiliar with cars. The prices are also GREAT! I definitely recommend this shop to all!
