I am fairly new to New York. You hear often the stereotypes of a dog-eat-dog world. So looking for a mechanic, and honesty, is not an easy task. However, I was in a jam and needed to find one. I came across the reviews for Hughes Motor Corp, and I was immediately impressed to make a call. Vinny answered (he's part of a duo with Kevin). He was very friendly and assuring when I told him about the problems with my Durango. I had AAA tow the car to their workshop in Yonkers. These guys are professional, efficient, and you get your car back within the time frame that is estimated. Overall, I highly recommend this workshop, they are a great team. They will take care of your problems and put you at ease. Cars are expensive toys, what you hope to get is a decent repair job at a fair price. These guys provide both, you'll be in good hands. I moved to NJ after living in WI for 34 years leaving behind my go-to mechanic (since I was legal on the road) that I could trust with any car/truck problem. It took about 3+ years to find a guy like John and the group of guys that I can trust at Car Kings. It's convenient that I work in Clifton so he is a few minutes away. I have been there about a 1/2 dozen times and he always finds a way to sneak me in. Work always get's done in a timely and professional manner. Just watch out for Teddy the office dog! ;)

DO NOT USE THIS SHOP. charged for repairs they did not complete, lft with damages and the "GUranty" isn't worth the paper it's written on. Shoddy, dishonest.

I would stay away from this service center at all costs. Not only does the manager take less than educated guesses at what he thinks may be wrong with your vehicle but does repairs (I will say repair, but that never takes place), bills you for it and then decides that your vehicle needs other repairs after you come back within days, complaining of the original problem. They tape wires under the hood with electrical tape, short fill you on oil changes by quarts, and making matters worse, they are extremely disrespectful. Please, if you believe you have a major repair to your car, go to the dealer; the work is guaranteed the staff is trained on your vehicle they do not do any work they didn't quote for you and, most importantly, will find out exactly what is needed without replacing everything under the hood and beyond Quality Automotive does not live up to the name and the place is very questionable and untrustworty.

Mullaney Tire & Car Care Center This place is super shady owner lied to me about work he did on my car. It was there two weeks and didnt move from spot I left it! He lies and manipulates your time. DO NOT believe positive reviews the owner is rude and lies. DO NOT GO HERE
