Mufflers repair service near Selden, NY

i had the unfortunate experience of getting an estimated price of $500 for brakes and rotors. I said ok . They were to call me with exact price but I called them . They wanted 1600.00 for brakes oil change wipers !! Padded the quote like no tomorrow!! I called my local mechanic and he had his tow truck get my vehicle They wouldn't release my car unless I signed paperwork via email that they didn't receive without me making a 38 dollar payment as the said they Inspected the Brakes! Then he wouldn't release my car because he wanted me to write my debit card number on an unencrypted email. He finally extorted this 38 dollars from me and kept the tow guy waiting for a half hour.

I too have been bringing my cars to Tilden for many years and really appreciate the attention and quality service they have received. They treat their customers like family and will go out of their way to fix your problem and get you back on the road. The service was great, Jimmy was a pleasure to talk to over the phone and even nicer in person. He fully explained what was going on with my car and exactly what they did. The price for all the work that was done on our car was very reasonable. I didn’t feel ripped off like I have in the past at other mechanics. I went there in my 2012 camry because they were rated #1 oil change in south bay paper, and they told me the same ($35 more for synthetic). When I called toyota, Toyota said it is 5w20 synthetic. So i had it done and seemed very fair, quick service. I read this review first, and was hesitant, but my engine still runs and I saw they used the correct oil and changed filter. Seemed legit. would go back. Very fast service.
