Scott is a fantastic auto mechanic! So thankful i found this shop. Scott diagnosed my honda element and isolated the transmission problem. He backed me up and got honda to install a new transmission for free. I am forever a THE GARAGE customer and tell all my friends and family.

I have a 2008 Impreza with 60K on odometer that stalled on a stop light. I call the tow company and suggest the nearest auto shop. Unfortunately it was Auto Tech in Stamford. Service writer told me $129 for diagnose before he can give estimated price for a repair. He call later that day and said the technician has found nothing major issue except I need a new battery and minor engine tune-up. He quoted a price of $650. I said I have other concern about my AC is not blowing cold. He said they will do another diagnose and give me a quote to fix it. They found out my car need a new AC condenser which cost $750 to fix. All in all I paid $1400 after my Triple A discount. I ask about the warranty he said 2 years. After a month my AC is not working again so I bring it back and they told me the new AC condenser works fine the problem is the compressor it need to be replace. it’s kind of fishy to me because when they diagnose my AC for the first time there’s nothing wrong with the compressor now they insist it’s broken and wants me to spend a $1000. Sorry to say but these guys are crooks and untrustworthy. I suggest to avoid this shop they will take your money and never fix the problem.

I am fairly new to New York. You hear often the stereotypes of a dog-eat-dog world. So looking for a mechanic, and honesty, is not an easy task. However, I was in a jam and needed to find one. I came across the reviews for Hughes Motor Corp, and I was immediately impressed to make a call. Vinny answered (he's part of a duo with Kevin). He was very friendly and assuring when I told him about the problems with my Durango. I had AAA tow the car to their workshop in Yonkers. These guys are professional, efficient, and you get your car back within the time frame that is estimated. Overall, I highly recommend this workshop, they are a great team. They will take care of your problems and put you at ease. Cars are expensive toys, what you hope to get is a decent repair job at a fair price. These guys provide both, you'll be in good hands. My SUV has been in there shop since 8/22/2011 & still in there shop didn't even begin working on it yet every time it's an excuse or find something else wrong with it. I wouldn't advise any 1 to go there unless you don't need your car for about a 3 to 4 weeks

I pulled in for a NY state auto inspection around 5:30 pm. Despite looking very busy I was accommodated in a few minutes They provided the inspection quickly and efficiently. Everyone was very courteous, the task was finished then I was on my way. I would recommend this shop to anyone and will return when I be require service or repair in the future.

TInt is great. Thanks, No complaining. I enjoy my tints and get tickets rarely. I was warned by Lorenzo that a certain percentage is legal in my state. I got what I paid for. The tint job will out last my car.
