The owner Tom rebuilt an engine for us and did not stand by his work. Less than a 1200 miles on the engine that they rebuilt and the vehicle will not even drive down the block without breaking down. This has cost me thousands of dollars in tows and lost opportunities for my business. After spending $13,000+ dollars for the repair work and he Toasted the engine. The engine is not even repairable after taking it to his shop. It would cost much more to repair the vehicle to even get it running. He promised to pay for his mistake and I have yet to see a dime. After being given the run around for many months I'm tired of dealing with his LIES! Thanks for nothing Tom. I will update my review when and if Toms stops dragging his feet and makes this right. A man who does not stand by his work is no man.
I recently took my VW Rabit to Mr. Hoovler to have the exhaust repaire... read more I recently took my VW Rabit to Mr. Hoovler to have the exhaust repaired. I told him to replace the cats. He had my car for a week and when I got it back the cats were missing and he put PVC pipe in their place. The PVC pipe was all melted where the car was parked. Mr. Hoovler stole the cats off my car to sell them. Bad service.
I took my vehicle to Hoovler Vw repair for a bad tie rod end and loose... read more I took my vehicle to Hoovler Vw repair for a bad tie rod end and loose steering. Mr Tom Hoovler did the repair himself since he is the most experienced in this area of repair. He didn't properly align the front end which cause the car to bear to the left when the wheel was held straight, also the lug nut was missing. I told him about the problem and he was rude and told me to take it else where.
