2 years of a belt issue with power steering going out from first visit, replaced everything under hood associated with belts, thousands of dollars on daughter's car, 7 invoices with power steering being primary problem, new belts, water pump, alternator, battery, all power steering hoses, with the last thing replaced being the power steering pump! I guess after replacing everything else there wasn't much of a choice but the pump, that was the issue from first visit, through the remaining visits! Mangers refusing to accept any responsibility of making a bad decision.. I could go into much detail but given the forum I'm on I won't.. beware! Will try to pull every dollar possible from your wallet, they did cut one bill in half where the power steering HOSES were replaced. 20 year old daughter picked her car up, I was always the one interacting with manager, she was brought into the problem in front of customers with the manger attacking me and the amount of time he had to spend on the phone.. just a horrible experience from beginning to end, from water pump to power steering pump, btw they replaced the steering pump with a rebuilt one without my knowledge? Opened hood and bright orange sticker! In fairness I called the national customer center and the district manager, who I'd had conversations with in past, was instructed to refund the cost of the power steering pump, nothing else, curious? If the pump had been replaced to begin with, would all the other work been needed? Thousands of my daughters money been spent? But they refunded for the steering pump that was the primary problem to begin with.. I'll never return..

This place is HORRIFIC. We have had the worst experience EVER with Clayton who works in the shop. They "rebuilt" our transmission and within 24 hours it broke again and they are currently refusing to pay for their mistakes (or even own up to them, for that matter). We live in Chicago and are now arguing with him from 8 hours away, and he is a huge jerk. I am contacting all of his superiors so they all know about his unprofessional attitude and horrible work on our car. We have currently been without a car for a month total. And they refuse to pay for a rental car for us, so we have incurred that expense on our own. I will NEVER, EVER buy another Ford car or use Coughlin Ford, and neither will my family and friends who live in Johnstown. They are undeserving of any stars.

IPS is a GREAT company!!!They provided great service at a GREAT PRICE!!!IPS is right down the street from me and i never even knew it! They provide EVERY service for cars and trucks,probably any type of vehicle and the showroom is very nice and clean!They even have a keurig coffee maker with different flavors or you can make tea too..Their service shop area is the nicest i have ever seen in Columbus,Oh by far!!!! They have about 12-15 car and truck lifts and 2-3 alignment racks,also the shop area is HUGE!!! They took me to the shop area and i was blown away how nice and clean it is and all kinds of very nice sports cars that will blow your mind!!!!They are a very great company for custom work also which is obvious when you see the shop area with soooo many beautiful customized very expensive cars,you name it and they do it!!!! You would expect to pay a fortune when you see the whole place but i was floored when they gave me an estimate on the work i had done!!! I can tell you this,whatever i need done in the future i WILL DEFINITELY be taking my cars there!!!Especially if it is custom work i need done!The staff were excellent and very nice,also VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE!!! I will recommend them to everyone i know and even if i don't know them!!! Like i stated it is the nicest auto shop i have EVER SEEN in Columbus,Ohio or for that matter any shop even remotely close to Columbus!!! If you could rate them more than five stars i would rate them TEN STARS!!!If you are looking for custom work ,my advice is DO NOT take your vehicle ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!! I have been to this shop for years, it recently changed management and only went downhill. I took my vehicle in for strut repair, an unrelated transmission gasket repair and an oil change. My main complaint was my car was shaking on acceleration/deceleration. 24 hours after they said my car would be complete and $1600 later, my car is shaking on acceleration, deceleration and idle. They put in the wrong weight of oil but "graciously" changed it again without charging me again. When I communicated my frustration I got an empty apology and an offer for a free oil change in three months. Between the poor communication of when to expect repairs to be completed and the shoddy work, I would recommend people avoid this shop.

I had Met Jon Ketchum though my work. I have had met other people within his profession and decided there firm was a class act barring NONE . Upon having my vehicle repaired.I was informed of the repairs that would be needed as well as the cost of the repairs.They were up front. As well as thorough thru out the repairs. Upon the repairs they were more than honest on the time they had spent to perform the repairs.
