Brought my Jag in for a clutch... It was expensive and the result was not great. When Evans were done Tach didn't work, temp gauge didn't work, car started missing badly on way home, clutch was not adjusted right, air cleaner seal was not put on correctly, bonnet not aligned so it rubed on cowl... Just waiting to see what else I find. When I asked about it all I got was excuses: Tach: "Wire was brittle". 50 cent worth of wire and 15 minutes it worked. Temp Guage: "Sender bad". A few seconds with a wire brush on terminal temp guage works. Bonnet not aligned: "That takes a long time to align properly" Well when you take something off don't you factor in the time to put it back on correctly?! Or just throw it back together any old way? The miss was a coil wire not plugged in all the way. The clutch adjustment was not done for want of a $30 part which now I get to put on without a lift. Just waiting to find the next thing they screwed up. After a second complaint they said "They'd take it up with the technician and owner" Nothing back a week later. Stay FAR FAR away!

I will never bring my suv to them again. They lied about what needed to be done, and they also messed around with the axels towards the rear of the vehicle. Plus they over charge and lied about the amount I owed. This is the worst company in the world, I would suggest not going not even for an oil change. An single women beware because they will try and convenience you that your vehicle is falling apart. My last visit they tried to tell me that I needed stocks for the front of the vehicle. I went to the dealer ship and they said no way their is nothing wrong with the stocks. Midas is the worst.

My wife was given a 2004 Lexus ES300 by her mother. It had sat for about year before my wife started driving it. Although the car was in great shape we soon learned that it needed a brak job. We took it to a dealership in Delaware, Ohio and were given an estimate of almost 1/2 the cars value. I decided to go online and look for another mechanic in the Delaware area. Boy was I glad I did. I read a bunch of reviews about James Church and his staff at Oxford Automotive and decided to contact him to discuss our issues. He was very careful to not badmouth the dealership I took the car to, which was clearly due to his Faith. He suggested I bring the car in and he would give us PT Crusier rental car for a set one time price that is equal to a daily price from rental agencies. Long story short, he was able to fix all of our issues and them some and still save us over $500 from what the dealership was quoting. He also made suggestions as to what might be needed in the future but never once pushed to have it done immediately. The entire staff we dealt with was so nice and proefssional which was quite refreshihng. I have been to this shop for years, it recently changed management and only went downhill. I took my vehicle in for strut repair, an unrelated transmission gasket repair and an oil change. My main complaint was my car was shaking on acceleration/deceleration. 24 hours after they said my car would be complete and $1600 later, my car is shaking on acceleration, deceleration and idle. They put in the wrong weight of oil but "graciously" changed it again without charging me again. When I communicated my frustration I got an empty apology and an offer for a free oil change in three months. Between the poor communication of when to expect repairs to be completed and the shoddy work, I would recommend people avoid this shop.
