They promised a free evaluation via a video on the Google page presented by the president of the company! They lied!! They charged me $200 to look at two simple concerns with the promise that IF they found the problem they would put the evaluation fee towards the repair. Another lie! Typical bait and switch move. Promise from three different employees. Well guess what? They couldn’t find anything wrong. So now I still have the issues with $200 less taken by this garage. I emailed them twice showing them the video clearly stating that the evaluation was promised as a complimentary inspection. They ghosted me and refuse to refund my money and refused to honor the video!! I wonder if they’ll take it down after this is submitted. I want a refund and I want the promise in the video by the president to be honored!!

if there was a way to give a negative number i would. substandard work. is not ASE certified. does not honor warranties. better make sure all your parts are present after they work on your car.

These guys are great, very pleasant and helpful, they walked me through what was going on with my car in terms I could understand.They do good work, fast and stand behind their work! Defiantly recommend them!

by Kevin 12/15/2011 Bad Attitude, Poor Service, and they almost killed me. 1. Bought 4 new tires. Not only did they put the wrong tires on, they tightened the lug nuts bolts too tight and 3 for the 5 snapped off the front right before I discovered the problem after just getting off the highway at speeds of 65 mph. They did repair the lug nuts bolts, but claims it was not their fault, that "someone else tightened them". No one had touched the tires after their work. 2. Bought another set of tires and had a front end alignment. Upon returning and complaining about the front end pulling to the left this taking one of their "tech" with me on a road test to show them what it was doing, they claimed it was "to the specks of the Chevy. One the next visit a week later. the "tech" claimed it was do to the crown in the road and not their work. It would pull to the left even when the road slanted higher to the left, not to mention he passed huge amount of gas in my truck , as a F--- You, before handing me my keys back to drive away. It still pulled to the left. I had to take it to the dealer to get it alined. When speaking to the owner, he claims their work is fine and that we should not do any more business. I said "Happy NOT to do business with a shop that I have had nothing but problems with".

Inspection seemed to be thorough and included pictures and comments from the mechanic. Bill was very professional and took the time to discuss each of their findings w/ me, to answer questions, and share his professional opinion. Very satisfied.

Powertrain Automotive was established June 11, 2007. This family owned and operated repair facility is located at 28910 Euclid Avenue in Wickliffe, Ohio. After twenty three years in the same location, retiring owner Steve Combaj sold his repair facility known as Universal Mechanic to lead technician David Kozlowski. It was then that the name was changed and Powertrain Automotive was born. David is an ASE Certified Technician with over twenty years experience in the mechanical repair field. Left vehicle there to perform simple repairs to do and written down too. 5-working days later after calling, and them saying they are getting right on it. I finally had wife call 5 days later to pick up done or just pick up undone. It was picked up undone. Seemed like OK people but what a way to waste my time. Now I am going to check a past job they did for me just in case. You decide
