I can t say enough about these guys. I've been to 3 different shops, and they all told me my temperature sensor was bad. I had one shop replace the sensor, and still an engine light! So I tried All Tune and Lube, based on a friend s recommendation. Brad looked at my car and told me the sensor wasn't the problem. I asked him why, because the code was for the temperature sensor. That s when he explained cause and effect. lol He took the time to explain to me that just because a code is thrown, it doesn't mean the sensor is bad... it just means the sensor is probably doing it s job alerting of another problem. In short... it was a leaking thermostat, that he said was allowing cold antifreeze to get into my motor at warmup. I m not sure what all that means, but all I know is NO MORE ENGINE LIGHT!! Brad is right, there are many parts changers, and there are very few true Troubleshooters, who fix the problem and not just change the broken part. Had I brought it to them first, I could have saved a ton... replacing the thermostat was MUCH cheaper than replacing the sensor... that didn't need replaced in the first place. I highly recommend these guys... Brad has really earned my trust, and that s hard to do. Doesn t hurt that their prices are a RELIEF compared to others. They are very sweet people.

This place surprised me a bit. All I needed was to have the horn replaced, but I found a popular small, family owned automotive business. It seems they've been in business for a long time and are fully ingrained in the neighborhood. The service time and cost was very reasonable. The attitude was welcoming and customer oriented...I was offered home made chocolate chip cookies that another customer dropped off..it seems this is a usual practice. :) I didn't have a chance to wonder when my car was going to be completed nor did I feel like I had to worry about exorbitant prices. I'd definitely go there first if my car needs service

I had my truck towed to this company on last week by AAA. Once they received the truck I called them to see if they looked at the truck and the gentle men told me it would be $85 to check the truck. I told them okay, go ahead with the service. The next day my husband called and they told me we had a bad battery (we had just purchased a new battery two days prior to getting the truck towed) and in order to do any type of service we would have to pay $800 dollar. After hearing them tell us we need to provide them with $800 to do any type of service we wanted to know what types of service they was going to perform. The next day we went to the shop and the lady at the desk called one of the mechanics upfront to explain to us what service he was going to perform and he couldn't tell us anything other then we needed to give them $800 before they could do anything. Meanwhile we took the bad battery back to the shop and the man informed us that the battery was fine, not sure who to believe we received a second opinion. And the outcome was the same GOOD BATTERY. At this point we had to find someone else to look at our truck and was charged a $41 storage fee by Charlie's and then our truck got towed to the wrong shop. I WOULD NOT GIVE THIS PLACE ANY STARS but you have to for the review. I'm writing this review just for people to BEWARE!

The manager of this store refused to change my oil saying that according to company policy because my engine was too loud he would not change my oil. He said he was afraid I would try to sue him if my engine failed. I then went to a different garage in Huber Heights and found out that the manager of Midas was calling around to other garages warning them not to change my oil. Talk about profiling someone has it come to this being hassled by managers just to get your oil changed. Well perhaps he thought I was the CEO of Midas who bought a used truck in Dayton to see it any Midas garages would service a truck that had engine noise. By the way my truck has always had a loud engine and is a 1990 Chevy full size. You should have heard how loud the Ford 150 was that they serviced with no problem.

It is a shame to say things about a person or place you know nothing of or nothing about because you did,t go by the warranty or didn't give him a call. first of all Allan has built engines over 40 years and i have never known he to be dishonest nor not willing to make things right if something was wrong.people like Kevin combs from Texas never sent warranty papers back nor told Allan what the problem was just asked for money for repair with out estimate i know cause i was there when Kevin called him. I bought the 496 stroked anyway and I'm very happy. the way i see it is Allan is honest and fair. when something goes wrong it is always the builder not the person that waits 2 to 4 yrs later to complain after he messes something up i got 1 yr warranty ,warranty papers that tells you what you have to do just follow the directions that you did NOT read then you would not have these problems.by the way Allan builds over 100 engines a year every one knows he backs up his work so please before you tare some one down know who he is remember he builds engines you don't that's why you bought engine from him .by the way Allan does not work on cars as work advisor says he just build engines /get the facts right

Outstanding professional mechanics. Saved me a bunch of money on a used car purchase. The car looked good, but had numerous mechanical issues that were not readily identifiable. But the Pit Stop crew identified the problems to me and advised I stay away from the deal. If not for them I would have purchased the car and ended up spending thousands to fix.

Oil Connection

I have been a customer at Oil Exchange through the past several owners. The current owner, Steve, was the man who offered me 4 tires(too small, but a "great" price) when I only wanted one. After telling him I did not have $400.00 to put on tires, just change the oil he and his side kick came to me telling me there was a problem. The bottom line they gave me was my car was "not safe and should not be driven." They told me what needed repaired, sounding as if it was no big deal, could be done no problem. I asked how much, the employee of Steve checked on his price, came back and clearly stated "$96.00" I said "$96?" He said "Yes, $96.00, and that would make the oil change free." I said great. I told them I had a regular mechanic and was surprised he didn't see this issue, as he is a man of integrity and has been my trusted mechanic for years now. I figured it was no big deal to allow this work to be done by someone else as it was not expensive, and the two men seemed confident it was no big deal to do. 4 1/2 hours later it was finally done. As I went to pay my bill I was told "$509.16." "What? No, it is $96.00" The man said, "No before taxes it was $476.96" To say the least I flipped. I told them they lied, they were clear in stating $96.00, hearing me repeat it, and they confirming it. In NO WAY did I EVER agree to cough up over $500.00!!!! I was there for an oil change for God sake! I was not half way home when I had to return to have them fix the half assed job they did. I went directly to my mechanic, who told me he knew what they had fixed, as he had told me years ago about it and it was of NO DANGER to the integrity of the safety of the car's performance, rather the common sound of most Dodge Caravans) So LONG story short, he didn't get my $400.00 for his used tires he tried to pawn off on me even though they were too small for my van, but they did get my $400.00 PLUS. I will NEVER go there again, ever. I will also be sure to let ever single person I know, several I have sent to them, know what happened and that they are not to be trusted as they lied, attempting to instill fear for my safety, and told me clearly a price they denied telling me. I am disgusted with the way I was treated with the "honey" this and "sweetheart" that. I can only wonder if my husband had taken our van in, would they have screwed him over too? Oil Connection in Fairborn? Nope, never again. I had to put a one star rate, but that is because there is not an option for a -star.
