Heard about Tommy's from another shop (that doesn't do transmission work). Tommy himself is great, very quick to respond and upfront about everything. Got me in and done quick. The thing that stood out to me was this: I had a transmission service and transfer case service. When I got back to pick up my truck, Tommy said that the fluid in my transfer case was black... really bad. He had (without telling me or upselling) flushed my transfer case twice to make sure all the nasty fluid was out. In this day and age, to find someone who would do the right thing without being prompted - amazing. I'll be going back for sure. Plus getting loves from the shop dog is always a plus! Dan MacKenzie

From the standpoint of mechanical skill and expertise Doug has always provided great service. Additionally, and perhaps more importantly, he has always dealt fairly with me when there were differences re: the final cost of a job. Very professional and friendly group of guys. I brought my car in for an A/C evac/recharge but the old compressor was leaking badly, so they couldn't proceed. They didn't charge me for any of the work up to that point and were happy to revisit it after I replaced the compressor (I had a spare). The spare compressor ended up needing the clutch from the failed unit, which again they were happy to tackle. They worked late to finish it up and the final bill was very reasonable for the amount of work and number of back and forth sessions. They're also happy to provide rides to and from the shop.

We go to Tom for all of our car repair (by "we", I mean my mother-in-law and sister -in-law, as well as myself), and have for 20 years. I trust him and his mechanics to be honest, even when I don't want to hear it!

If I could give them a worse rating then this I would. I received absolutely horrible customer service by the owners, of all people. I went in using a coupon I had got off of Groupon and asked for an oil change. I was a first time customer of Meineke and thought they were offering a good deal through Groupon so I'd try it out. Bad mistake. I had only asked for an oil change nothing else, as my car did not need it and I was short for time. Before I knew it the mechanic came into the lobby and told me he broke part of my wheel while getting my tire off. I was confused as to what he was talking about so he led me into the back to show me. As he was explaining that the piece broke because of who ever put the tires on last tightened them too much and I would now pay for the part he broke, it hit me.........I didn't even ask him to be doing anything with my tires. When I asked why my tires were being messed with when all I wanted was an oil change, the Female owner said to me well we always do complementary tire rotation and I'm sure you were told that. At this point I'm getting pretty irritated and let them know that I did not ask anyone to touch my tires, and I shouldn't be paying for a part that is broken by their mechanic who performed a service I did not need, or ask for. The Male owner then stated fine I will take the charge off since you're whining so much about it. I waited around for 2 hours for their mechanic to fix it and never received so much as an apology from the owner, only the statement that it's better where they moved from because people aren't like they are around here. Can you believe it?! The point of the Groupon was for them to build up their customer base, but instead they lost more customers then they know. Businesses are build on word of mouth.....
