Grove Motors is a fantastic place to get good mechanical work done on your car no matter what kind you have. They are always friendly and their service is great! If you ever get into a conversation with Harry, he has great stories! Anyway, this place has always been very good to me, and Dave takes great care for his emloyees and his customers!The work is always reliable and the quality is great! I find that this palce is run with character such as integity, honesty and forthrightness. These qualities are becoming more rare these days and it is a treasure to find these qualities at a garage. Dave always takes the time to show me and tell me what is wrong with my car so that I am a little better educated. He also tries hard to work around my work schedule in order for me to miss as little work as possible. I really appreciate that! I would recommend this place to everyone. I used to work in Middletown for years but now I do not but I still bring my car into Grove Motors for any and all work. And now I hear they are a AAA facility!

December 30, 2020, my wife and I were on our way to North Carolina to visit our daughter. About 180 miles into our trip our alternator burnt out. Because I thought the issue was a faulty battery, I called AAA for a battery service. The tech determined the alternator was the issue. She could not recommend a nearby mechanic and said we'd be hard pressed to get service given the New Years holiday. Not being from the Carlisle, PA area, we decided to conduct a Google search and found T&M Automotive was about a 1/2 mile away. Turns out they are a AAA approved shop. Go figure why the AAA tech didn't know them! We spoke with Henrik who agreed to help us out. They were amazing!!! Henrik was able to get the required part, had his tech install it, test drove it and got us back on the road 3 hours later. The price was very reasonable and the service was excellent. They could have easily charged us more and we would have had to pay it given our situation. If you live in the Carlisle area, I highly recommend you use T&M Automotive for your car care. Good team of mechanics for general repairs on passenger vehicles. I've been using their services for 10+ years and never had a reason to go anywhere else. Their diagnostic and troubleshooting skills are top-notch. They do a good job communicating with their customers and have built a good clientele over the years. their prices are fair and the work completed as promised. No Saturday hours :-(

I am an outraged customer who took my car to Franklins to get my battery replaced. Not only was the wrong battery installed, but it was also mounted incorrectly despite obvious signs of this problem. The plastic clip on top would not even latch to close. When I got home and lifted the hood, LOOSE PARTS WERE SITTING BESIDE THE BATTERY, and the corrosion on the terminals was not cleaned. To top off this wonderful experience, the replacement inspection stickers that were placed on my car were incorrect, and I really enjoyed cleaning grease from the inside of my car. I was assured that these mistakes were not reflective of Franklin’s reputation. I admit – I may not know much about cars, but I do know that I do NOT trust Franklins with my vehicle and will not be a returning customer.

My 1989 Jeep YJ ("Wrangler") developed a somewhat-common but often challenging to pin down problem called "Death Wobble," known well to Jeep folk, while on a long return trip from Upstate New York to Virginia. From I-81, I searched for a comprehensive shop that had some good reviews that could handle drivetrain and tires. Hats off to Randy, Brian, and the stellar mechanic whose name I didn't catch. I came in out of nowhere at 4:30 on a Monday afternoon and dropped this thing in their lap. While they weren't able to reweld the sway bar link, they were able to tighten up my track bar and get me the tire I needed that was a thumbtack away from exploding. Thing looked like the Hindenburg "before" picture. They were courteous and quick, professional and informed, and above all, did what they needed to do for the right price. I was very, very grateful for the expertise of the mechanic on duty, and Randy and Brian, if you read this, gold star for that guy. He knew his stuff and my ride home was awesome after the fix. The shop is easy to find, clean, substantive, and you can even see straight onto the shop floor from inside, giving you a clear, transparent view of what's going on with your vehicle. Tire selection was very good, prices were totally fair, and heck, free wifi to boot. I went a bit out of my way, bypassing a few "mom and pop" shops on the way, thinking, I've got a feeling about this place, and I'm glad I did. If you're in the need of a shop and you're anywhere nearby, it's worth the drive down 61 to patronize Jack Williams in Shamokin.
