Engine repair service near Ligonier, PA

I found this place on Google while looking for a reputable mechanic to bring my car to, as the last 3 places I had tried had given me incorrect diagnosises and tried to over charge me. Long story short, I will never use another mechanic. If there is one word that describes this place best, it's HONEST. The whole staff, from the tow truck driver to the owner, are kind and helpful. Had this problem at 3 other local shops and was out over 1400 dollars only to be let down with no repair. I was very disgruntled until a co worker mentioned this shop. Made the appointment and dropped it off thinking this will be another upset until I got the call... THE SAME MORNING!!!! They found 2 wires shorting together when I hit certain bumps and repair was 110 bucks out the door. Customer for life!! Thanks guys!! Kerri

I recently purchased a vehicle from the autobahn auto sales and was very pleased with my experience. The salesman was very helpful showing me the autocheck report, clean title, and service sheet of what repairs they did before offering it for sale. $5500 later, was told vehicle was ready for pick up. Made it a few miles, then broke down again. Called several times for help, and was hung up on twice. Our evil......run the opposite direction!

I got my front breaks changed here. When I got my car back the steering wheel started shaking. It got to the point where I found the vehicle unsafe to drive. I did some research online and found that can be caused by loose lug nuts. Sure enough, I checked the lug nuts on the driver's side tire. Three out of the five I took off with my hand. They were never torqued. The tire could've come off on the freeway and then I might not be here to leave this review. I called meineke up and told them what I found. The man on the phone was totally unhelpful. First, he tried to assure me that they took my car for a test drive. Then he kept asking me what I wanted him to do about it. He didn't offer any sort of refund, or offer to speak to the mechanic about the oversight. He did offer to tighten my lug nuts if I drove my vehicle down to them (not safe). The conversation ended with him saying "What do you want me to do about it?" and I told him that I was going to leave a negative review online because people should know about this. It was then that he hung up on me. My voice wasn't raised. I was direct but still respectful. I've never been hung up on by a professional. I contacted corporate. They got in touch with the owner who offered to torque my lug nuts and teach me how to use some lug nut torque tool. I torqued the lug nuts correctly, it was their mechanic that forgot to torque them.
