While visiting Pittsburgh, I had to schedule an oil change and went to Baum Blvd Automotive on the strength of their service to my 2005 Honda Civic when I lived in Pittsburgh. It turned out that, over the course of a New England winter, my car had accumulated a couple of extra problems since work was last done, including a rusty oil pan and damaged rear wheel hubs. I want to note that Baum Blvd Automotive went out of their way to earn my trust on somewhat pricy repairs, offering to call my regular mechanic and seeking out ways to offer me discounts. When I got home and had a regularly scheduled tire swap, my mechanic noted that Baum Blvd Automotive had definitely identified problems I would not want to drive home on and they would have given me similar advice. My only note is that it took rather a long time for the parts to arrive. I was not in a hurry, however, and I did leave Pittsburgh on schedule and safely, thanks to Baum Blvd Automotive.

I found this place on Google while looking for a reputable mechanic to bring my car to, as the last 3 places I had tried had given me incorrect diagnosises and tried to over charge me. Long story short, I will never use another mechanic. If there is one word that describes this place best, it's HONEST. The whole staff, from the tow truck driver to the owner, are kind and helpful. I got my front breaks changed here. When I got my car back the steering wheel started shaking. It got to the point where I found the vehicle unsafe to drive. I did some research online and found that can be caused by loose lug nuts. Sure enough, I checked the lug nuts on the driver's side tire. Three out of the five I took off with my hand. They were never torqued. The tire could've come off on the freeway and then I might not be here to leave this review. I called meineke up and told them what I found. The man on the phone was totally unhelpful. First, he tried to assure me that they took my car for a test drive. Then he kept asking me what I wanted him to do about it. He didn't offer any sort of refund, or offer to speak to the mechanic about the oversight. He did offer to tighten my lug nuts if I drove my vehicle down to them (not safe). The conversation ended with him saying "What do you want me to do about it?" and I told him that I was going to leave a negative review online because people should know about this. It was then that he hung up on me. My voice wasn't raised. I was direct but still respectful. I've never been hung up on by a professional. I contacted corporate. They got in touch with the owner who offered to torque my lug nuts and teach me how to use some lug nut torque tool. I torqued the lug nuts correctly, it was their mechanic that forgot to torque them.

Quick inspection of my 2 motorcycles. Thorough, reasonably priced...only shop I could find near Blawnox. Now summer please get here!!

I found their ad in St Anne's bulletin. A friend had suggested them. The tech listed what was needed for the inspection and made suggestions for repairs. Even though the cost would be high, I decided to add his suggestions. I'll be back to see them for my wife's car

These guys are great. I've been taking my cars to them for a number of years. They were able to fix a problem that I thought only the dealer could troubleshoot. Michael is very honest and trustworthy, I hope he's not planning on retiring soon. :)

Last service was for brakes and inspection. Everything was fine. Have been a customer here for over twenty years with as many as three cars in the household and we never had a real problem. Had many different parts replaced and maintenance done and always been happy with the work.

Have been going to these guys for years. Good, Honest Mechanics that aren't in it to cheat you but just to get you back and keep you on the road.
