After much research and speaking with several mechanics and repair techs, I found Walko Automotive to be the best solution to my bad hybrid battery. Walko Automotive helped replace my 2007 Toyota Prius battery in less than 2 hrs for THE MOST reasonable price. They offered a two year warranty and with their already outstanding business history, Master Tech certifications with hybrid vehicles (and any vehicle really), and a positive, family-oriented atmosphere, they were sure to deliver in every way you would expect the best and most trustworthy mechanic should. This family owned repair shop has been trusted for 72 years, they have to be honest and fair to stay in business that many years.

WARNING! If you take the pandemic seriously do not use this business. I went to drop off my car for brake work. The clerk did not wear a mask nor keep 6 ft distance. When I asked him to put on a mask, he said that the virus is BS. When I explained I take care of elderly parents, he said the virus is a joke. When I complained to the manager who also did not put on a mask, I got lip service and no apology. Do not use this company unless you do not believe in science.

This place is reliable, honest, neither slow nor fast, and is economical. It is best to call them during working hours, describe the issue(s), and set an appointment for drop off. They allow you to drop the keys through a mail slot and leave your car if dropping off before they open. They call you if there are issues and when the auto is ready for pick up. They offer great services, at good prices, give decent estimates, and communicate any issues during the process. The only drawback is that Tom is kind of a curmudgeon. He is a very honest and trustworthy person, but is grumpy nine times out of ten. My wife and I have been going to Stephanou's for about seven years or so. They are awesome.

These guys know what they are doing. On time service and affordable care for your auto, they went out of their way to make sure my issues were resolved. They balanced/aligned my ride better than any dealer will tell you they can do. They know how to service all makes and models, it is worth the trip even if you are not from the Monroe area. This station is awesome! Chris, the manager, is one of the best managers of a service station I have ever experienced. He is consistent, helpful, attentive,honest and treats everyone equally. He does not try and sell you what you don't need and backs up all his work. This place is definitely one of or the best service station in the area. Hats off to the owner for having a great employee like Chris!!!
