small home town auto repair. honest ,dependable, reasonably priced. Actually he is usually less than what the big shops charge. The yard may be a bit messy but the guy behind the wrench is honest friendly and dependable. KNow him for like 20 years. Had many of our vehicles repaired there thru the years. He also has a real love for classic cars and often can find parts that are hard to find.

I have lived in this area for about six years and have tried as many mechanics. After searching for several years I stumbled upon AAMCO and more importantly Jerry the owner of this franchise. I only went here because of a Supersaver Discount I bought for here but I have remained long after it has been gone. Jerry is one of the few honest, down to earth mechanics left in the business. He tells you when things need to be replaced and when they can be stretched out, he really cares about his customers and his workers. His prices are more than fair and when I had my AC fixed and it stopped working I brought it in and he fixed within 24 hours. He stands behind his work and is a man of integrity anyone who comes here will be pleased with the work you get done!

After much research and speaking with several mechanics and repair techs, I found Walko Automotive to be the best solution to my bad hybrid battery. I've been going to Hughes Auto Service for over 2 years now and can't say enough good things about them! They always do a great job and are extremely honest with me. I have an 18 year old Saturn which has been very good to me, but occasionally needs service. They always correct the problem and explain to me exactly what the car needed. They always call me before making any repairs to get my approval!!! That is very important to me. All the mechanics and the owner, John, are wonderful, hard working, honest people!!!
