I took my Volvo here because they said they were Volvo certified - they are not. Although the car was running perfectly fine, we wanted them to check out a "Check transmission next service" message. Three thousand dollars later, the message is still there and the car is stone cold dead in my driveway. They said there is nothing more they can do - and they were RUDE about it. Also, a Volvo mechanic told me that they charge at least 1 1/2 times what others charge. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE.

I took my car to Meineke (for the first time) a few months ago for a state inspection and an oil change and left it there while I was at work. A few hours later I relieved a call from a woman saying that my car was in need of $900.00 worth of repairs on top of the cost of the inspection and oil change and how would I like to pay for it? Like I could just whip out $900.00 on the spot! I have a 2010 Nissan Rouge so that just didn't make any sense. The car was running great and I always take it in for routine maintenance. I asked if it would pass inspection without all the repairs and she said yes but just barely. She said my back tires really needed to be replaced. I told her that I didn't want any extra work to be done just the inspection and oil change. She stuck to her position but said fine. Now three months later I took my car to the dealership for my regular routine maintenance and mentioned that a few months back I was told the tires probably needed to be replaced. They called me to tell me they had no idea what I was talking about because the tires are fine in fact they are at 50% now and would have been even better a few months back! THEY LIE TO YOU TO GET YOU TO SPEND MONEY YOU DON'T NEED TO!

We went 3 different places for a rebuilt engine and decided on The Engine Exchange in Horsham and glad we did. Frank the owner gave us a good price and better warranty then the other two places. It was done on time and ready when it was supposed to be! Also when we had an unrelated problem, he went out of his way to help us get it fixed. Would highly recommend The Engine Exchange in Horsham!!!

This company does not stand by the nonsense parts and service they push so hard to sell to you. I will never use these people again. Unprofessional, cocky attitude, and just plain ignorant counter people. They need some serious customer service training. This company used to have a good name (years ago and not this location). Drive elsewhere people to get your car fixed. Don't make a mistake like I did. NEVER AGAIN. I will be telling everyone I know about the nonsense I went through.

The work was performed as described and the job was on time and under quotation price. The parts needed were quoted as OEM price or aftermarket price for my selection. Good workmanship and towing service provided.

DO NOT GO HERE. I brought my car in for a simple oil change, the then came in with my air filter saying it was broken and needed to be replaced...When I left my car started bucking and jerking as I was driving followed by my Check engine light coming on. I brought the car in the next morning and told them to see what was wrong. The shop was loaded with people including the manager who was there...They turned my light off and told me it had nothing to do with the oil change and that there are no problems. After leaving the light came back on and the car was running terrible once again. I had a friend of mine who knows cars well take a look at it and the second he looked in my engine he could see that the air filter was just jammed in and not even installed right. Even after getting the air filter fixed, my car is still having problems and now I have to bring it in once again to be looked at costing me time and money.. The people working here are clearly unqualified to work on cars.

I have been going here since about 1962 when John and his brothers learned to repair cars from their father. He was very demanding and expected perfection from them. John learned well and always manages to fix my old cars in a proficient and timely manner. He has continued to learn and keep up with new technologies. Like his father he clearly explains what needs to be done and why. He often finds inovative ways to repair my old cars. For example a rear tail light on my 1989 station wagon just needed replacement. Because my tail gate no longer goes down, bolts to hold it in place could only be accessed from the out side by removing paneling. Instead he gained access through a storage compartment. Although I now live in West Chester I continue to go to Shall Martin Garage because of their superior service.
