Transmission repair service near Roslyn, PA

Terrible service, overpriced. Up charge for parts and at least $100 more for labor than other places in the area. Avoid at all costs

If I could rate 0 stars I would. The place is a rip off. Stay away. The owner bought it out a few years ago after he ran his other business Transco transmissions in Hatboro. I brought my car to have my transmission rebuilt with out knowing it was not owned by Bill Holt anymore. They did not rebuild my transmission correctly and I had to bring my car back 5 times in the course of a year because the tranny kept slipping. Each time they claimed it was something new altogether and not covered by the warranty. I was with out my car for weeks after each visit. One time my car broke down in the mountains and I had to pay $500 to have it towed to their shop after they refused to pick it up. The owner (who works on the transmissions) is never their and never returns your call. You have to deal with manager who has no real decision authority. They have an F with BBB for obvious reasons. I have never been so unsatisfied as a customer and I wouldn't wish the same frustration on anyone

Jay goes above and beyond to make sure my car is right with quality care. He finds problems that my previous mechanic doesn't to improve longevity of the car with affordable prices. My father in law recommended Jay and he and his company have my 100% trust. He saved me when I attempted to have my car inspected at a popular franchise near my work, and fixed their mess. I've been going to this shop since it opened. I would not go anywhere else for transmission issues. Bill is a very honest businessman who knows the value of repeat customers. His prices are excellent and he stands behind his work.

My family and I have been taking our car there for over 20 years. The owner, Randy, is the best. His prices are a little more expensive than other places, but he always gets to the root of the problem and he is trustworthy. Routinely, he tells us when we can wait to get a service done or if we don't need to do it at all. In the end, this saved us a ton of money.

The experiace I had at this store was very good. Lowest tire prices in the city. They carry just about any brand. Employee owned company really shoed in their service. I highly recommend.

I want to say first this Shop was so friendly and helpful. I had got in car accident on Sunday. Called them Monday morning and my guy who I deal with, was out sick, so the Girl at the front desk, Cat got my car over to their shop right away! I even had the wrong phone number! I call the fax machine & Cat knew to call me back... Anyway, the whole experience was seamless, professional, and easy! They even dealt with my insurance company! This transmission shop treated me with full respect. I am a single woman who is somewhat intimidated by mechanic shops and they were honest and reliable. I recieved an estimate from another repair shop for 2400.00 + tax and discount tranny's repaird my car for 200.00 and it runs wonderful!
