Went in on 5/16/2012 for a simpe oil change and filter. First time customer and the reason I selected them was through a great groupon discount deal. Well, the 'technician' Pat (? not sure if I have the name correctly) proceeded to lift the car with 4 separate hydraulic lifts in a manual fashion - no 'mathematical' method of lining it up correctly just throw them under the car. Well, the lifts were position wrong and all 4 lifts damaged their respective poitns around the underbody frame. All dented. The technician said they would pop out. bottom line: I got over $600 dollars in damage and my insurance company is still fighting them for the money! (They don't claim anything of course - complete liars) STAY AWAY!

Do NOT use this shop. I had my Altima in for a shifting issue. After $1200 ($500 in Labor) I got it back with MORE ISSUES. I picked my car up and it not only had the Check Engine Light on - which was NEW, but it was drivable when I went back about a week later after the work to mention a newly developed problem. After less than a 5 mins drive Dominic comes back telling me I need a whole new transmission. I ask how they originally got to the diagnosis - Dominic very soon was telling me to "Take him to court" - I hadn't even asked for ANY refund yet! All I wanted was a correct diagnosis. Very quick and expensive, thoughtless work. They are a "Parts Changer" not a mechanic.

I took my Volvo here because they said they were Volvo certified - they are not. Although the car was running perfectly fine, we wanted them to check out a "Check transmission next service" message. Three thousand dollars later, the message is still there and the car is stone cold dead in my driveway. They said there is nothing more they can do - and they were RUDE about it. Also, a Volvo mechanic told me that they charge at least 1 1/2 times what others charge. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE.

Abuse customer vehicles. Return vehicles with damaged parts. Then want to do free work on the vehicle that you do not need. I would not have them put air in my tires.

I took my car in for a noise while it was in gear. They told me I needed a new transmission. After they installed it my car was still making the same noise. Bob said it needed an "adjustment and needed my car an extra day. Major inconvenience! When asked what adjustment was needed he was very vague and never did tell me. A year later my car was making the same noise. I took it to another mechanic who said it was not the transmission and a simple cooling system repair fixed the problem! The cost of replacing the transmission was $3,000.00. The cost to fix the cooling system was $20.00. I was ripped off for $3,000.00! Stay away from this shop, I wish I would have read all the bad reviews online about this guy before going there! Had to choose one star, should be negative 100 stars!

Owner is a terrible businessman! Held my car for a week and did nothing to it and dodged my calls. Actually had the nerve to threaten to call the police when I came to get it back. Stay very far away from this liar you’ll thank me.

This place is reliable, honest, neither slow nor fast, and is economical. It is best to call them during working hours, describe the issue(s), and set an appointment for drop off. They allow you to drop the keys through a mail slot and leave your car if dropping off before they open. They call you if there are issues and when the auto is ready for pick up. They offer great services, at good prices, give decent estimates, and communicate any issues during the process. The only drawback is that Tom is kind of a curmudgeon. He is a very honest and trustworthy person, but is grumpy nine times out of ten. My wife and I have been going to Stephanou's for about seven years or so. They are awesome.

His prices are a little more expensive than other places, but he always gets to the root of the problem and he is trustworthy. Routinely, he tells us when we can wait to get a service done or if we don't need to do it at all. In the end, this saved us a ton of money.

The experiace I had at this store was very good. Lowest tire prices in the city. They carry just about any brand. Employee owned company really shoed in their service. I highly recommend.
