We called Robert's Mobile Mechanics Tuesday evening after our car unexpectedly broke down on the interstate. We knew the serpentine belt had popped off, and we hoped that was all that was wrong because I needed the car to get to work at 1pm on Wednesday. Robert's Mobile Mechanics came out early Wednesday morning, immediately diagnosed that the water pump had also gone bad, and still had everything fixed and ready to go by 11am. The rate was exceptionally reasonable (as someone who drives a 20-year-old car that spends a great deal of time in the shop, I would know...). They were fast, friendly, and professional. We will definitely be using them in the future and would recommend them to anyone.

I CAME IN AND TOLD THE PERSON AT THE DESK THAT I NEEDED A NEW STARTER, THAT I HAD BEEN HAVING PROBLEMS FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS WITH MY 2003 TARUS WITH LESS THAN 55000 MILES STARTING. I RECEIVED A CALL LATER SAYING MY STARTER HAD NO PROBLEMS BUT THAT I NEEDED OTHER SERVICE FOR OVER $300. I TRUSTED THAT THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT. THREE DAYS LATER MY CAR WOULD NOT START AND I HAD TO HAVE AAA START IT. THEN ABOUT A WEEK AFTER I TOOK CAR TO FIRESTONE I WAS STRANDED AT THE YMCA WITH CAR NOT STARTING. AAA SENT BATTERY TRUCK OUT BUT THEY COULDN'T START MY CAR EITHER AND I HAD TO WAIT FOR A TOW TRUCK TO PULL MY CAR TO ANOTHER LOCAL SHOP. THEY FOUND THAT INDEED I DID NEED A NEW STARTER. I AM VERY UNHAPPY THAT A COMPANY I TRUSTED TO FIX MY CAR, ESPECIALLY WHEN I TOLD THEM WHAT WAS WRONG WITH IT. I AM 75 YEARS OLD AND HAVE DRIVEN ALL MY ADULT LIFE, THEREFORE I KNOW MY CAR AND WHAT THE TROUBLE USUALLY IS. I AM TOO OLD TO BE STRANDED WITH A CAR HAVING PROBLEMS THAT I HAD TAKEN IT TO FIRESTONE TO BE FIXED.
