Found my new shop. Knowing they offer a shuttle service is a huge plus, but the service and fair price is what I'll come back for. My mechanic worked with me on my parts issues and I feel like I got a good price for quality installing shocks all around. Staff made it as painless as possible and truck drives like it did new. Bob Parra runs a well-managed and professional auto service. We have used them for years and each time they have performed beyond our expectations. From the time you come in to the time you pick up your vehicle, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They explain things at a level I can understand. They do not pressure us. They explain the facts and help us determine the best solution and timeline. Each time we bring in our vehicle, they give it a good inspection so we know we are driving a safe vehicle. It used to be hard to find a good car repair shop. I don't know if that is true for today because we have gone to Parra Car Care for so long. If you are looking for a top-notch shop that respects it's customers and tries very hard to please them then this is one of the best. They are great mechanics!

This is a DISHONEST shop. I had a misfire on one cylinder and they gave me a false diagnosis of a failed open injector - $273 to replace. It seemed like a reasonable diagnosis at the time and since I was about 300 miles from home I authorized the work. A few hours later I picked up my truck; the misfire was fixed so I paid the bill. When I got home I immediately noticed that they replaced the ignition coil (a job that should have cost under $100) but never touched the injector. The business owner adamantly insisted they replaced the injector but it was obvious to me that they did not, and an independent Nissan dealer also confirmed in writing that the injector had not been replaced. I eventually got my money refunded by filing a dispute with my credit card company. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND LOOKING ELSEWHERE for vehicle service. There are plenty of honest shops out there, but this is certainly not one of them.

HI I noticed that the McKinney location for DFW Dent Repair was under construction so I took my 2014 Honda Accord to their Lewisville location to get some recent hail damage repaired. These guys are great! They worked with my insurance company and made to process so easy. It's amazing how they work their "magic" and saw dents I didn't even realize where there. They answered all of my questions and are very "customer focused" They got my car in and out in a reasonable time and the coupon on their website helped me cover my deductible! I was so thrilled with how the Honda turned out, I just dropped off our Mercedes E350 for hail damage repairs! I've dealt with fly by night dent repair companies that pop up like weeds after a hail storm before. This is a brick and mortor location and this is all they do! I called and talked to Joe about installing the Amp Reseach power running boards. Joe told me to go ahead and bring the truck and boards in and he would look at them. Joe called and gave me the price and i told him to go ahead and install them. Justin installed them with no problem and had the vehicle ready to go the next day. Had a slight problem with one side but took it back down and Justin adjusted it and had me ready to go in a short time. Great work as always, would not trust my car with anyone else!! Mark C.

The work performed was satisfactory, owner/mechanic is obviously knowledgeable and has been in business for many years. Like most auto repair shops, they so often fail to show their cost of parts plus the mark up, which can be significant depending on brand and who the wholesaler is. In most cases auto repair shops will buy after market products instead of OEM, which allows them to mark up the parts a 100 to 150 percent plus labor. This lack of transparency can cost the customer a good deal of money over an above what is considered reasonable. First consult a auto parts store for pricing on parts needed, you'll find that the retail pricing will be less than what your paying the auto repair shop. In most cases auto repair labor charges will exceed the cost of parts by 70 to 300 percent, a wide disparity indeed.
