Took my Mazda 5 in for a diagnostic because 2 different Mazda dealers had NOT been able to follow the guide for the known issues for a Mazda 5 listed online. Was told I needed a new transmission and it would be cheaper to trade it in (this was in the summer) waited for school to start again so my daughters auto tech class could look at it. Long story short a transmission control module later (plug and play device) changed by under age HS students and my car runs PERFECTLY. It was mis-diagnosed by these mechanics with yrs of experience. If I could rate less than 1 start I would because I am out the money for the diagnostic fee plus the time I had to wait for school to start again.

I have now had three exceptional experiences with the folks at Boerne Import Auto Works. They are fast, do good work, reasonably priced and have exceptional customer service. They've never tried to upsell me or try and get me to buy parts or service that I don't need or want. They have really gone out of their way to help me and each time they have gone the extra mile cheerfully and with great efficiency.

They got my old trucks AC Colder than its ever been before.

They replaced the timing chain in my Nissan Altima. They broke the chain oiler in the process. Completely destroyed the engine. Claimed it was somehow my fault. 2 months later, they finally replaced the engine with a used engine I had to pay for. Stay far away from these people. They also upcharge the parts they provide by a factor of 3.

Honest, quick, professional! Called them for an oil change and wheel alignment appointment and they were able to take my Toyota Prius immediately. They did an excellent job, pointed out some things that I should get fixed, and told me how much I should expect the service to cost. It's a no-brainer to return to them again in the future.

David was awesome. He is a natural teacher; took me through his thought process, showed me the diagnostic codes and actual showed me under the hood and under my vehicle. You know how sometimes things just go from bad to worse, and just when you think things cannot get any worse, they do? Well that's what happened today. BUT - a major blessing for me came in the form of a young man by the name of Neil W. Smith who works for Discount Tire located at 13850 O'Connor Road. Please, if you ever need tire assistance of any kind, stop in at Discount Tire on O'Connor Road and talk with Neil W. Smith. I had a good experience here. This is the first time I took my car in for a repair in San Antonio. I called them for a quote, I was happy with the price (I had done my research), they ordered the part, we made the appointment and then I brought it in. They fixed it in the amount of time they said they would even though I showed up late, they charged me the price they quoted and they didn't bring any new problems to my attention. They also gave me $25 off because I signed up for the text message discounts. I haven't been getting any texts since then but I got and used that first one. I haven't smelled oil since that day. They also gave me a stamp card to earn a free oil change. I'm thoroughly happy.

Had been highly recOmmended but when I got my car back power steering was still leaking and the car didn't feel like anything had been done. When taken back they tried to tell me the power steering wasn't leaking it was the transmission. My transmission was fine. He wanted to sell me a car he was selling instead of fixing mine.
