Went in for an oil change before going on a road trip and the GM Michael was very honest and explained that it could be unsafe to drive so far due to an issue he identified. And it did turn out to be an issue that needed to be addressed. Not to mention if I had ignored the advice would have left my family stranded somewhere on I10. He and his coworkers were very helpful and understanding of our situation, I couldn't have asked to be link up with anyone better than Michael, his boss and his crew! My experience with Harold left a bad taste in my mouth. Felt like a bait and switch. I emailed asking for price range to rebuild some heads for me. I was estimated $200-$400. Told me $400 was if they were pretty messed up. Called me this morning to tell me that only one of my heads needs work and it was going to be almost $700. That's more than what a brand new pair of Vortec heads cost at summit Racing . Now, to get my heads back, I have to pay $75 because they scammed me just to get me to bring my heads in. Lesson learned. I will not be doing business or recommending Harold's machine shop!
