He will shop parts from different suppliers to find a deal, etc. then present all the options to you and he lets the customer decide. He has always been honest with me and never suggests extra work that doesn't truly need to be done. Never pushy. Always wants what is best for the customer's needs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

My car would not start, I thought it was a bad battery. They checked it out and said the battery was good - no need to waste money on a new battery. They found the problem (alternator), and fixed it the same day. Price was reasonable too.

Do not buy a car from this Traditional Autos dealership they will rip you off buy sellIing you a(LEMON) car with a bad motor. It will last you about 2 months and then thats when all the problems start. They put another motor in my car an charge me 2400.00 after i check they only did a head job on the motor. it been about a year later and my car is still not working. They have over a year to fix the problem, if i was you i would stay away from Traditional Auto they are all about the lies. Also Jose Luevano the head salesman will lie to you and do not care he should be able to never work as a car salesman every word that comes out of his mouth is a lie. I pay my notes on time all i ask for them, to do whst they say, I will never buy a car from this company because the owner is a dick head and think he is above all other people . took my altima in for a regular timing belt replacement and ended up being a nitemare to get the car back. it seems they dropped a bolt down into the motor and had to pull the engine to retreive it and then had the nerve to charge me for the labor. this place is not where you want to take your car as they simply dont care once its in their shop they know they have you on the hook. oh i also found he advertises to be ASE certified but there is no record of it--go figure

First off, let me give a thanks to Sabien and the rest of the staff at Standard Gear and Transmission! The service was awesome, and the results are incredible! Hopefully my experience will help others with the Cummins / G56 drivetrain. My throwout bearing was making noise for some time, and I continued to drive the truck, as it is my daily driver. Long story short, this destroyed my clutch fork, input shaft, and input bearing. I was on the fence for some time about doing away with the stock dual-mass flywheel and clutch. Sabien recommended a South Bend Clutch OFEK kit, and let me say, it is amazing! The engagement is similar to stock, but very positive. It does not grab, and shifts are silky smooth. The trans was refilled with 30 wt synchromesh, and it now runs smoother and quieter than I ever believed a G56 could. Pedal effort with the new hydraulics is so light that I nearly pushed the pedal through the floorboard when I started the truck for the first time. Gone are the truck's tendency to buck and jerk in reverse, and the noises from the factory clutch. I'm literally having to learn to drive the truck again, as it's manners and sounds are like new. I have been a client of this business since moving to Ft Worth in 2008. I often got the extra services they recommended (fuel and air filters, etc.) On Jan 17 of 2014, along with the oil change, they recommended an oil cleaner, as I have an older car (2000 Nissan Altima, 163,000 mi.) Wanting to extend the engine life, I agreed. They also said that the alternator bearings were making noise, and that it need replacing. No other noise was mentioned. Less than 50 miles later, the engine blew. All the mechanics I took the car (or consulted on the phone) said that they NEVER recommended oil cleaners for older cars. After two months without a car (getting groceries on foot), and after extensive research into the best used engines and mechanics who could install them, I again had running vehicle. $3000 +. I took the receipts by Shine and requested some compensation. I went back by and was informed that the cleaner could not have caused the problem, and was offered not even a car wash. If I could afford it, I would sue. As a senior dependent on SS, I cannot. Needless to say, I'll never be back.
