I can honestly recommend Steve and his son for anyone looking for a great mechanic that is again honest and very knowledgeable. Luckily with Vick's it isn't a bad experience. Dane, the owner, is very friendly and will work with you to get you car working. I've been coming here for two years to service my accord; everything from oil changes to "my car won't start" and every time Dane has taken care of me. His prices are fair and I haven't had any issues with the work to date. Given what most experiences are with mechanics, all I can say is I'm thrilled to have found a good, fair, shop around Austin.
I want everyone to know that Hutto Automotive is one of the most hones... read more I want everyone to know that Hutto Automotive is one of the most honest automotive shop I have ever dealt with. My son car broke down in Hutto, the car could not be driven to a shop so we had to get a tow truck. we are from the San Antonio area, and we did not know any auto shop in the area. I called around but no one would give us a estimate unless we towed the car to their shop. I finally got to Hutto Automotive and Mr. Pat gave us estimate on the repair from the photo we took him. He gave us a high end estimate if the axle was broken, but the axle was broken and it price of repair was cheaper than he estimated. If I lived closer I would use Hutto Automotive for all auto repair. Thanks Mr. Pat Cathy and Samuel Allen
