Engine repair service near Katy, TX

I have been coming to this location for nearly 5 years and have seen the changes that have taken place with the staff and management. Recently, I took my husband's 2010 Chevy Silverado in to get a rebuilt engine and had to bring in my 2012 Chevy Malibu at the same time for a new engine, this was completely unexpected and frustrating, yet Thomas ( manager) made our experience well worth our time and money. Thomas went above and beyond for us. He is/ was honest, straightforward, dedicated to making us happy, and you know he loves what he does for a living. Cars are his passion and for that our family is grateful to have him as our mechanic. Thank you, Thomas for everything! Teresa Neal

I have had prepaid service on my Mini Countryman S so I only had that experience. After that plan ended, the first time I took my car for service because the engine was kind of sputtering, I received a diagnostic that I had to change my spark plugs and a couple of other minor adjustments and they gave me such an outrageous quote that even the Mini serviceman was surprised! Fortunately I found Uptown Motorwerks and made the drive there. Wow, what a relief. Not only were they very fast and courteous, they helped me decide what would be better to do asap, what could wait. I left them my car and had a guy from their shop drive me back to my house (not a short drive). My car was ready the very next day and a great price and has been running perfectly after that. I cannot recommend them enough.

My 2013 GLK 250 Mercedes needed new brakes I first went to Mercedes Benz Sugarland they quoted the repair at $825.00 plus tax for the front only I thought the quote was high I usually use them but after the bad service I kept getting from them I decided to get quotes for other Auto shop that are repeatable with repairing high end vehicles, I checked around for 2 days the prices at most shops were around $150 - $200 less expensive then Mercedes Benz Sugarland Wow! that's a saving but then on Saturday June 27 I called Eurocare because I've heard from an neighbor that they're repeatable and prices are good also. I spoke to Cody he was very knowledgeable about my Mercedes which made me feel very comfortable and he was so nice also the job could be done today! I was so relieved because it has been very difficult to find a shop that prices were good and I was comfortable with them doing the job. They even offered to take me home and pick me back up in a couple hours so I thought wow! its getting better and better. I got my brakes repaired for $469 almost half the price of Mercedes Benz Sugarland and they washed my car and cleaned the inside. Eurocare is a 5 Star Auto repair shop with excellent customer service they went beyond my expectation and the staff was very pleasant to work with. Came to house to evaluate car problem. Was leaking transmission oil. Determine it was only a hose replacement. They are a trustworthy Company. Fixed problem same day. Recommended future items to look at for near future to prevent future problems. Very friendly family.

My experience with Harold left a bad taste in my mouth. Felt like a bait and switch. I emailed asking for price range to rebuild some heads for me. I was estimated $200-$400. Told me $400 was if they were pretty messed up. Called me this morning to tell me that only one of my heads needs work and it was going to be almost $700. That's more than what a brand new pair of Vortec heads cost at summit Racing . Now, to get my heads back, I have to pay $75 because they scammed me just to get me to bring my heads in. Lesson learned. I will not be doing business or recommending Harold's machine shop!
