Just had some repairs done to my 2008 Ford Diesel. I was quoted over a 1000.00 at another shop for repairs that were not even needed. Dorsett's saved me almost 350.00 dollars as the truck did not need what the other shop said it needed. These guys are VERY knowledgeable on diesels and the work was performed to my complete satisfaction! The staff is very friendly and I look forward to doing business with them in the future.

Had a starter fail last day of a conference in Galveston. Needed a quick repair as I was scheduled to leave Galveston that day. Called to make an appt. & they got me in right away. Service was prompt and have no issues with the repair. Repair was more expensive than I had estimated, but typically, parts/ labour are more expensive on the island... Overall, if I had another issue, while in Galveston, I would go there again.

I bought 2 new tires for the back. They rotate the front to the back and broke the stud from the front. They asked $50 for the stud then later let me know that while removing the stud they would need to replace the rolls which add $400. I asked my mechanic and he said there is no need to do all of that. The store does not allow me to take back the car. They asked $178 for the time they disconnect my front car wheel which i never asked and the car has to be tolled away. Once the car in their hand, they will find an argument that your car is un safe to drive and you cannot take it back. BE CAREFUL dealling with them unless you have time and prepared to call police.

Courteous and professional service, including shuttle service to work, and vehicle was ready earlier than promised.

hi im from fort worth texas, evertime i have trouble with something about rebuild engine, is dosent bother me to drive 5 hours until this machine shop because i know that im going to get the best of best, they always treat me very friendly with good quality and fair price. i feel very satisfied with workmanship.

These guys suck and are liars. Called at 10:30 in the morning said they would be there in a couple hours. Nothing. Called at 2:30 said he would call his guy to see where he was and that he would call back in 15 min. Nothing. Called at 3:30 said he was half hour away. Nothing. Called at 4:30 guy who answered sounded like and ignorant buffoon and said the would be there in the morning. I said forget it you lied and stood me up wasted my time.

I do not recommend anyone here anymore, due to bad service. Management and staff changed recently and no longer provide the same customer service. The manager there has no people skills and does not seem to care about the horrible customer service he provides clientele. I used Meineke every month for my regular oil changes for the past 4 years at this location and have been very disappointed with my last 3 visits. They always seem to find something new or wrong with my vehicles each time I go and feel pressured to pay for new & unnecessary services each time. A dishonest business does not look out for it's customers and will lose integrity,not just it's customers. I no longer recommend this location to friends and family and am now taking my vehicles elsewhere. Do your research and take your vehicle, where you are appreciated as a customer and where you can trust the people you do business with.
