Electric car repair service near Spring, TX

I have had prepaid service on my Mini Countryman S so I only had that experience. After that plan ended, the first time I took my car for service because the engine was kind of sputtering, I received a diagnostic that I had to change my spark plugs and a couple of other minor adjustments and they gave me such an outrageous quote that even the Mini serviceman was surprised! Fortunately I found Uptown Motorwerks and made the drive there. Wow, what a relief. Not only were they very fast and courteous, they helped me decide what would be better to do asap, what could wait. I left them my car and had a guy from their shop drive me back to my house (not a short drive). My car was ready the very next day and a great price and has been running perfectly after that. I cannot recommend them enough.

I have been coming to this location for nearly 5 years and have seen the changes that have taken place with the staff and management. Recently, I took my husband's 2010 Chevy Silverado in to get a rebuilt engine and had to bring in my 2012 Chevy Malibu at the same time for a new engine, this was completely unexpected and frustrating, yet Thomas ( manager) made our experience well worth our time and money. Thomas went above and beyond for us. He is/ was honest, straightforward, dedicated to making us happy, and you know he loves what he does for a living. Another great service experience! I have been a customer for 4 years. I'm not sure why it took 10 years living in this area, for me to find this established shop. I have been very satisfied with all of the service provided. They are professional, courteous, honest, ethical & provided quality work on my Infiniti, BMW and Landcruiser. They provide you details on the service that needs to be performed and the labor rates are very reasonable. I can't say enough about the satisfaction and savings that I have experienced by taking my vehicles to Byrd Automotive. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOP!

Quoted the price of $200 plus tax over the phone and was later told the charge was $276 plus tax due to the programming of convertible top. I expressed to the mechanic, who I assume was the owner, the price I was told and I would like it to be honored. I was then told by the mechanic I was quoted $212.50 plus tax over the phone which I expressed was not what the lady told me. In addition to not being charged the right amount I asked the receptionist if it’s possible for the mechanic put the battery housing cover back on the battery once complete since an O’Rileys worker removed it to inspect the battery. She stated it wasn’t a problem which I later discovered it was not done. I’m extremely dissatisfied with the level of service I was provided given it was my first time having maintenance done at the shop.

Brake job seemed good. But they did not get the breaks system bled correctly. The truck stops but I can push the peddle to the floor after stopping.

Brent from Wrench did a great job servicing my truck. He was on time, got the job done quick and exceeded my expectations when he found and corrected a few other issues while completing his inspection. I've only ever heard positive comments about J & T Automotive so I decided to check them out. I took my car there for an oil change and inspection this past summer and couldn't believe how fast they were. I just took my car in last monday and again was EXTREMELY pleased with this place and the people that work there. I did need some repairs and they were very detailed with their explanation of the repair and the prices that went along with it. When I picked it up the next day, my car was cleaner than it had been in months and I could feel the difference in the way my car drove after the repairs. WOW, what an exceptional car repair “treat!” So much so that I happily drive there from Clear Lake City for the smallest of car-related ANYTHING! Whitney, my service advisor, is truly on the ball.” She’s smart, friendly, knowledgeable, determined, accommodating, accountable, value-oriented, concerned, genuine, and simply a delight to deal with. And THEN there’s the leadership, specifically Harrison and Sady – it doesn’t take long after meeting these two to realize why they hired Whitney AND why they are all such a dynamic team! Ultimately, it all comes from the top and these guys are an iconic example of such – even their pricing is amazing! On my most recent visit… I had a tricky issue with my new-to-me car, in that it was electrical-in-nature and obscure, but boy did they figure it out. Corey, my technician, wouldn’t give up even when it took more fenagling than usual and Whitney kept all the moving parts coordinated for a quick, reasonable resolution – She organized the part acquisition, warranty coverage, communication needs, and repair, keeping me informed at all times. And the team even proactively helped me with transportation when an unexpected delay (by another leg of the repair) occurred. Obviously, I could go on, but I’m certain you get the point by now – you simply cannot go wrong by taking your car to RMS for diagnosis or repair – in fact, I just had another concern regarding my USB port seeming to be failing and they got busy, discovered the “problem,” and had my car back to me in less than a day – and all at no charge. This is how to keep customers coming back forever!

Highly recommend this auto shop, owner very upfront and honest concerning repairs on your car, I have been going to West End for over 10 yrs. and their prices are fair, I don't take my car anywhere else, whether it's talking about the economy, work, children or exchanging recipes , Petros and Hank are so polite and fun to talk to.

Glad you take care of my car. One suggestion, If you check the filters before the customer leaves, or just ask the customer at that time, then they can authorize the work, for example, if the air filter is dirty please swap it out. Thanks Marc
