Eddie is the last of his kind. What I mean by that is there are no other places that exist out there that provide the skill and know how like this shop. Where could a guy find a shop that the actual owner is on site and gets his hands dirty with installs? My experience was amazing all around with Eddie and his team. If a problem happened with anything that he installed he would fix it or replace it hands down even if it was past the manufactures warranty. I actually had to take my truck to IPAC because there was a problem with my electrical circuit. The dealer tried to pass the blame on the audio install and alarm install, then told me they won't fix my truck under warranty. I called Eddie and told him about it that day and he actually came to the dealer on his day off and spoke to the service manager proving it was not the install and ensured the dealer fixed my truck under its warranty. This guy goes above any shop in Texas and truly cares about his customers. He won't try to sell you junk and send you on your way. He will spend the time and make sure you're 100% satisfied. Everything went very well. Best of all was that they employee who attended me spoke Spanish. I didn't have any problem expressing what I needed. Overall, I felt very attended to.

I had a good experience here. This is the first time I took my car in for a repair in San Antonio. I called them for a quote, I was happy with the price (I had done my research), they ordered the part, we made the appointment and then I brought it in. They fixed it in the amount of time they said they would even though I showed up late, they charged me the price they quoted and they didn't bring any new problems to my attention. They also gave me $25 off because I signed up for the text message discounts. I haven't been getting any texts since then but I got and used that first one. I haven't smelled oil since that day. They also gave me a stamp card to earn a free oil change. I'm thoroughly happy.

I have been using Master Lube Express for about 3 years and I have found them to be the best quick change station out there. They have high quality product like Amsoil and I am in and out in no time flat. You guys Rock.

These guys did a fantastic job today on my car. I had a very irritating noise coming from somewhere in my suspension. I had replaced a few parts on my own, but was becoming increasingly frustrated. The guys at the shop, especially Jacob, really were committed to helping diagnose the problem, and ultimately solving the riddle that was the noise. Thanks again, gentlemen. I shopped several transmission repair shops and got many stories and prices without any of them really looking at my transmissions. Option Transmissions did a scan of the car with the snap-on modus scanner then they told me what was wrong and what it would take to fix it. They delivered what they promised and we are very happy with the results. They guarantee their work. I also liked the fact that the place was clean and well organized. Thanks John.

Finally found a mechanic that I can trust. And he did a great job.

I went to Custom Sounds to have my windows tinted on my 2013 Kia Optima with the Formula1 Pinnacle Ceramic Window Tint, i was quoted a price over the phone and i went to there location to have the film installed, when i arrived at the store they gave me a heat demonstration of the different types of film they have, and the ceramic window tint offered the best heat blocking. It took a couple of hours to install the film, and they did an excellent job on the installation, they told me i might experience a little haziness becasus they use soapy water to install the film and they try to get as much soapy water out as possbile, and that it would take a couple of days for it to evaporate and beocme clear; however, i did not experience any haziness on my windows, they did a superior job on the install and i would recommend them to anyone. Because I am a girl, many other automotive shops have tried to convince me that I need unnecessary repairs but Total Care Automotive took care of me without overcharging or trying to say I needed extra work. 8/14/16: My transmission broke down in downtown San Antonio. I was visiting from Las Cruces, NM. Needless to say, I was in a bind. It was Sunday and I had no wheels in a strange city far from home. I called a few places with 24/7 towing and Gary from Select Transmission was the first to get back to me. Beggars can't be choosers, so I had the truck towed to their shop. 8/15/16: The parking lot at Select is jammed with vehicles. This might be a sign of them being in high demand because of their excellent service, but it's really because they are slow and/or overbooked. I'd be fine with slow, IF the work is done properly, but that was not to be in my case. They were super nice and cool as they talked knowledgeably about automotive repair. I ended up ordering an upgraded 4L80E with a nationwide 3 year warranty and was able to get financing for the whole cost of the repair, approximately $3800. I told them it would be about 3 weeks before I could arrange to get back out to SA to pick up the truck. I caught a flight home for $350 since I had to work the next day. 8/29/16: I called Select to get an update. Gary said it would be ready by Wednesday, the 31st. I let them know I'd be coming out at the end of the week, which would be the start of Labor Day weekend. 9/2/16: I took an afternoon flight to SA (another $350) and got to Select at about 5pm to pick up the truck. They had apparently been rushed to put it back together...so much for being done by the 31st. Gary told me there was a noise and they couldn't figure out the source. I knew of a noise coming from my front transfer case every now and then, so I told him that was probably it. He also told me that the transmission would make some noise for a few hundred miles as it broke in. Not knowing any better, I drove it for about 90 miles while there was this loud scraping sound. I ended up parking it at a friend's place. Underneath the truck there was evidence of fluid leakage and the skid plate that protected the transmission was missing. The shop was closed for the weekend so I couldn't take it back until Tuesday. 9/3/16: I called Select and got Gary the lying rat on the phone. He was at some Labor Day weekend tailgate party and the shop was closed. He told me to check the fluid level. No help there, the fluid level was fine. 9/5/16: I wasn't going to drive the truck 700 miles making that noise and I wasn't going to leave my truck there for another three weeks so I arranged to have it shipped back to a transmission shop in El Paso for $500 and rented a car to drive home ($120). 9/10/16: My truck arrived at the shop in El Paso. I owe the guy there $400 for the balance of having my truck shipped. 9/22/16: I make it into the El Paso shop and pay the $400. He had already inspected the truck and pulled the rear transfer case off the back of the transmission. It had not been filled with oil, the filler plug on top was missing and the drain plug was loose. The inside was full of metal shavings. Total cost to replace with a rebuilt unit: $1241. Thanks a lot, Select Transmission! To be fair, the transmission itself was fine and installed properly. But PROPER removal and replacement of the rear transfer case is an integral part of the job and this was not done.

Total incompetence . Axton fleet service really messed up my new 2015 Ford transit it took them three tries to get the cabinets in my truck the way there employee Easton drew it up on paper. Leaving 20 holes in the floor of my new truck. Then there tech shorted out the computer that controls the dash board in my truck while installing my power inverter. And they refuse to pay Ford for the cost of repair to the computer.

I went here because my door latch was broken and my door wouldn't open. When I told the mechanic all he did was pull on the door and handle(which wouldn't open of course) and decided that the problem was the motor in the door. He charged me over $200 and made me wait for five hours before they finally called and said that it was the door latch and he needed another $100 dollars. We said forget it and when we picked it up they didn't even clean off the grease marks they made of over the inside of the doors and window. AND MY DOOR STILL DIDN'T OPEN! We called again to have them fix the botched job and they said they were going to charge $50 JUST TO OPEN THE DOOR TO LOOK AT IT! DO NOT go to this place unless you want to be ripped off by half-ass mechanics. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

Do not buy from FRIENDLY AUTO SALES!!!!! I PURCHASED A VEHICLE FROM FRIENDLY AUTO SALES AND THE VERY NEXT DAY THE CAR WAS NOT FUCTIONING PROPERLY. I GET THAT I BOUGHT IT AS IS BUT IF IT BREAKS DOWN AFTER DRIVING IT FOR A LITTLE WHILE IM SURE THEY KNEW IT WAS DAMAGED BUT THEY STILL SOLD IT TO ME DAMAGED. I CALLED THEM THE NEXT DAY AND THEY TOLD ME THEY WOULD GO HALF ON THE COSTS TO FIX IT. SOON AS I TOOK IT IN THE MECHANIC DROVE IT FOR 5 MINUTES AND WHEN HE GOT OUT OF THE CAR HE SAID, YUUP TRANSMISSION. HALF THE COSTS FOR TRANSMISSION REPAIR IS EXPENSIVE ( EXCEPT I GOT IT CHECKED OUT AT AUTOZONE AND THE REPAIRS NEEDED IS A MINOR FIX!!! ????? IF THIS WASNT BAD ENOUGH, MY PAYMENT WAS COMING UP ON THE 5TH OF THE MONTH. I HAD BEEN WORKING 12 HOUR SHIFTS BUT WHEN I GOT OFF WORK ON THE 5TH AT 6P.M THEY WERE CLOSED. THE NEXT DAY AT 9 A.M I CALLED TO MAKE A PAYMENT BUT THEY WERENT OPEN YET. I WENT IN TO WORK AND WHEN I GOT OUT THAT EVENING THE CAR WAS GONE!! IT WAS REPOSSESED! WHAT?? THEY REPOSSESED IT FROM MY BOSSES DRIVEWAY ON PRIVATE PROPERTY THAT WASNT EVEN MY PROPERTY! THEY TRESPASSED TO REPO A CAR AFTER ONE DAY! SO NOW TO GET THE VEHICLE BACK THEY WILL NOT ACCEPT THIS MONTHS PAYMENT....NOPE, THEY WANT TWO MONTHS WORTH OF PAYMENTS PLUS THE TOWING FEE. SAFE YOURSELF A HEADACHE AND TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE! THESE PEOPLE ARE PROFESSIONAL CROOKS.

I walked in asking for a quote for my damaged vehicle. The guy helping me was the only person working, and the shop looked like a ghost town. After taking a look at my vehicle, he gave me a verbal estimate. I then told him that I needed a printed quote for Lackland Air Force Base's vehicle operations, as the vehicle was a government vehicle. He then mumbled something under his breath and walked away. It was a little awkward, and I was unsure what the man said. I followed the man back to the office when he turned around and yelled, "Get out of here with that shit, take your business somewhere else!" He then slammed the door to the office. Not only was this whole trip really awkward, but the man working was extremely rude. I'm not sure how this dump makes it's money, but please save yourself some time and never go here.
