5 stars is simply not enough STERLING deserves 10+ on a rating. The people who work here actually care (mike & angela) are extremely professional, caring, honest, hard workers. They fought with a big ins. Co. For me, made sure my children& I had a vehicle, & took responsibility to make sure that at the end day I WAS OK -- & that meant the world to me. The work they Did was superb like new maybe better. Not to mention they have lifetime warranty --You know these days everyone is looking just to make a dollar for themselves mike & angela are different they are truly one of a kind.I definitely recommend STERLING to everyone. If your looking for professionalism, honesty, great work & value these are your guys!!

hey craig, you sound like a real jerk, talked to trini at cats, great guy he said he didnt even charge, you paid for tires, he also said you had taken your bike to alamo city and you said they worked on it previously for the same problem and couldnt find a issue with your motor. you also made up a story that the cut your harness. it sound to me that you are cheap that wants every thing for free, the noise you hear in your engine must be your damn brain rattling. These are scam artists of the century. Do not buy from Johnny or Ron. They will rob you blind.

I bought a VW from George's that was supposed to take two weeks to get ready while the "engine was rebuilt". It wound up taking almost two months. The engine died on the way home. After he supposedly fixed it, it still kept stalling and not idling. When I complained he told me that the car was sold with no guarantees and to fix it myself. I got less than 1000 miles on the engine before it blew. When I called George he told me that I could pay him to fix it. When I explained how he sold me a car with a new rebuilt engine he told me tough luck (in so many words). After paying a premium price for the car I wasn't about to take it back to George. I wound up taking it to another shop in San Antonio that has a much better reputation. He disassembled the motor and showed me how it had not been rebuilt and in fact was just a worn out motor that George tried to pass off as a rebuild. I have no idea how he has maintained a 5 Star rating. If you don't believe my review please call and talk to the folks in the VW club as well as various local VW auto parts stores. George's Buggy Shop is infamous. On the plus side his sons seem to be nice kids. I had to fix the repairs they made anyhow myself. At least they were well spoken and polite. So is George until you want him to back up his "work". I've owned over 70 air-cooled VWs, managed a large air-cooled VW parts warehouse, and have worked for VW of America. I've never run across, what I consider to be, a bigger crook than George's Buggy Shop.
