I started going to 301 Auto within the last year and I like them. Good service, fair pricing and quick turnaround. In one instance I had them check a suspension item on my Infiniti that another shop said needs repair. Would have been an easy thing gif them to agree with the other place and do the $300 + fix. HORRIBLE BUSINESS - FEMALES BEWARE! The owner of this shop is a menace and his family is too! I went in & paid for a simple issue that they NEVER fixed and LIED about! When I politely asked for proof that they had even done the work (3 other shops confirmed they hadn’t), the owner refused to let me leave his shop by blocking me in with his run down truck & decided to pull out an unregistered GUN and threaten to kill me OVER THE LIES OF HIS OWN SHOP. Thankfully Colonial Heights police were able to save me from this MONSTER but I’d advise anyone with common sense to GO ELSEWHERE! Especially any students in the area; Any man who is so scared of taking accountability that he needs to pull out a gun on a young female, especially at his decrepit old age, is a revolting excuse for a man. His family and especially his bottom of the barrel wife & brother, who are the only people who are dumb enough to be attached to him & work at that shop, are equally as guilty, disgusting, and revolting as he is. You’d be better off taking your car to a chop shop, trust me!

This is my regular mechanic now. I took my car for an oil change and annual inspection, also needed a couple of things checked out because they weren't working properly. I made an appointment for 7 AM so I could wait for my car. I paid less for my total bill (including the state inspection fee) than I used to pay for an oil change alone. My Acura takes between 4 and 5 quarts of oil, they charged for 4 where I used to go always charged for me for 5 quarts. The two things I had them check ended up being easy fixes (for them) so they didn't charge me to fix them. I was out and on my way in an hour. The people there are friendly and honest. Can't ask for more. They're 5 minutes from my house but I'd go out of my way to have them service my car. I'd give the 10 stars if I could.

Wow! Talk about compassionate people...this staff is AWESOME! I had a problem with my tires (TOYO) from the factory, only 12,000 miles on my 2013 car. I explained the problem and they got right on it. One tire appears to be out-of-round and all lose tire pressure together and the light comes on. I am very picky about my vehicles and have been to the dealer as scheduled for rotation and balance. Just had an alignment done that barely was needed,,only right toe off a bit. These people called the office and went to TOYO for answers. I haven't heard back from factory yet, but if you want someone who cares and knows their stuff. The mechanic, William, explained everything in details I could understand. It appears 2013 Mazda 5 may have some camber issues on this model. There is a kit to fix the adjustment. They didn't charge for the inspection, info, or rotation. The one tire still has issues (that is NOT their fault). They are working on getting them replaced for me! Thanks everyone who assisted and especially William and April Foster. Recommend this place!
