I started going to 301 Auto within the last year and I like them. Good service, fair pricing and quick turnaround. In one instance I had them check a suspension item on my Infiniti that another shop said needs repair. Would have been an easy thing gif them to agree with the other place and do the $300 + fix. They looked at it, explained what they saw and why it wasn't needed. So I believe they are honest and not just out to make a buck wherever they can. Frank J. Mechanicsville, VA

I was very happy with the experience.

This is my regular mechanic now. I took my car for an oil change and annual inspection, also needed a couple of things checked out because they weren't working properly. I made an appointment for 7 AM so I could wait for my car. I paid less for my total bill (including the state inspection fee) than I used to pay for an oil change alone. My Acura takes between 4 and 5 quarts of oil, they charged for 4 where I used to go always charged for me for 5 quarts. The two things I had them check ended up being easy fixes (for them) so they didn't charge me to fix them. I was out and on my way in an hour. The people there are friendly and honest. Can't ask for more. They're 5 minutes from my house but I'd go out of my way to have them service my car. I'd give the 10 stars if I could.

These guys are great. I had work done at a local chain shop and they led me to believe I had a serious problem that would keep us from driving back to NC. I called Murray's, explained the situation and asked if they could take a look. Less than an hour later, they had carefully looked into things and found a minor oversight by the previous mechanic. It was cleared up and all is good. Attitude, courtesy, responsiveness, listening skills, mechanical understanding ... all top notch. Next time we're here and need auto work - I'll go to them first. I came in without an appointment because my brakes were squeeling and Doug, the store manager, got me in and did a thorough brake inspection on my car. He brought me into the shop and showed me that how bad my pads had worn and it had taken a toll on my rotors. I am very appreciative not only for the great work that was done but, for how respectful all of them were to me! Thank you guys!!

Will never go to a jiffy lube again. Not only did the incompatant idiots remove the panel from my undercarrige to change my oil but they didnt put it back and had the nerve to tell me that they didnt remove anything. Not only am I out about $75 before x-mas I have to buy new panels and also take my car somewhere else to Make sure they did what they were paid to do ... who knows ... they might now have even changed my oil or put the fully synthetic oil I requested. Oh JOY

Misdiagnosis led to major issues-then upcharges more than doubled since last discussion ( owner does the work without signed authorization or verbal approvals of the work quoted ).
