Import Auto Service is fantastic!! I have been a loyal customer for over 15 years. I started going to Import when I had a 1986 Volvo and needed my air conditioning repaired. I took it the dealer who wanted $2,000 to fix which I did not want to pay for something needed only during the summer. I always do thorough research and Import Auto Service had great reviews from customers and the Better Business Bureau. I decided to take my car to Import - to my amazement, the total cost was $800.00 and included some other services. That was the beginning of a great and long lasting relationship. Import kept my Volvo on the road for many years - I sold the Volvo in 2010 and the new owner still drives it and (on my recommendation) takes it to Import for servicing. Import now services my current Volvo. I trust Import completely - they are honest, ethical and are committed to providing quality service and having satisfied customers. The staff is always very friendly and courteous and the mechanics are experienced and knowledgeable. Import's prices are significantly less than the dealers and they have saved me a lot of dollars over the years. I have been taking my Honda and Lexus to Freestate for over 3 years. They are helpful in letting me know what is wrong with my vehicle and what could wait until the next service. The prices are not as high as a dealer but also not as low as say a side lot garage. I do feel confident that they are doing a good job and trust their opinion.

“I was dissatisfied with the service provided as they failed to inform me about the need for a re-inspection. Upon returning, I was charged again for a new inspection because the initial one had expired. This caused inconvenience, as I couldn’t register my car at the MVA. Additionally, during the second inspection, they insisted on repairing a part of my vehicle that the dealer confirmed was not necessary. It seems they prioritize profit over genuine service, leaving me to cover costly repairs for something that isn’t even faulty.”and I have to bring my car i again to be re inspected so I hope this time pass and they don’t came out with something else !!

I wanted to wait to see how the repairs I received here worked out. Good news! My car is still running great. My car broke down nearby this place and I limped in to their parking lot and left the key in the drop box. They have a website that shows that they accept overnight and weekend vehicles, which was a reason why I dropped my car off there. I lucked out, because these guys did a great job. They were very clear about what was wrong when they called me, and they gave me good advice about the timing belt being changed. It's been a few long driving trips and my car is still running well and not overheating. They did a great job and if I lived closer to them, I'd take my car there again. John Kennedy

Contacted Drake and it was very professional and they answered all the questions in a correct manner. All my conversations was with the owner Carl and I got the best quote. I have a 2007 Prius, first I took my car to Manassas Monroe and was quoted shy of $700 for brake pads and rotors. Next I price the parts online which can be purchase for shy of $150.00. Next I called the deal and was quoted at $534.00. Next I called Drake's and talked to Carl, and was given the price of $269.00 plus tax and shop fees which came out to $288.00. He was honest upfront and did show integrity. Yes I would use them again and will recommend to family and friends. By the way driving the car after the brake job felt like a job well done. No squeak, no pulling no jerky stops, just smooth breaking the way it should be. By the way this is my first time ever posting a review for anyone. Im honestly surprised that there arent more reviews for this gem! Rodney (the owner) was so kind, professional and helpful. I had gone to Pep Boys who told me I needed $600 dollars in work...after leaving International Auto I only paid $126 (including an oil change!!)
