I've been taking our vehicles to Wards Corner Shell for years and it's the only place I trust with our vehicle maintenance. I have consistently had exceptional service and fair treatment. When other mechanics have inflated the repair issues with our vehicles, Wards Corner Shell has always been upfront and honest about what we really need, and what we don't. As a military spouse and mother of three, it's important to me that I trust my service providers and Wards Corner Shell has always gone above and beyond

BLEW UP my engine! Two separate ASE mechanics confirmed it was this shop’s mistake. Tom (owner) refused to file claim and won’t return calls. Calling JAG and red flagging this business. $5k cost now to replace.

While my car was in his shop he drove it thru the Portsmouth tunnel, he said to match the headlight. I got the bills because it is my car, he admitted it was him that made the charge. I sent him every bill I got, now its been sent to a collection agency. I cannot renew my license plates that expire the end of this month until its paid. For awhile he gave me excuses, then it was flat out lies. Now he is ghosting me. He owns his shop, I live on social security month to month. He was my trusted mechanic for 16 years. He used to say I wasn't just a customer I was a friend, with friends like that I don't need enemies. I would have given him 0 stars but not an option.

STAY AWAY!!!! Was going to get brakes done but he offered to install brakes from a totally different make and model that "should work fine" Wanted money up front and there is no way those parts would fit or even bolt up to the car.

Carl had my vehicle for over a year. I paid up front $2500 back in February 2016. I contacted Carl several times over the course of a year and each time there were several excuses as to why the vehicle had still not been repaired. After taking him to court and several non kept promises to return either my vehicle or the money that I paid up front we have now reached the two year anniversary since I handed over possession of my vehicle. The court sentenced Mr. Carl to return my funds back as well as the car back in July 2017 and he has avoided all phones calls since this date. This has been the worst experience and I would NEVER recommend this shop. PLEASE GO ON YELP FOR TWO RECENTLY POSTED REVIEWS WITH THE SAME TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!

Customers thinking about stopping here, I'm sounding a urgent warning: Do Not Stop There! I took my car in last Thursday to find out why it was overheating. From then to today it has been 8days of lies, made up ideas, and unprofessional results. They charged me for an issue that did not fix the overheating. They kept my car over night, promising next day return, but noone showed up to work! Then they lied the next day saying they worked on the car,but the snow around it had never been disturbed! I am appualed an very disappointed with this Napa location. I do not assume that all of them are bad, but I did find it necessary to alert the public about this one on Lynnhaven rd in vabeach. Its worth the drive to the one around the corner instead. Good luck finding good service these days my fellow consumers!
