Please to everyone out avoid this place like the plague these guy do not know what they are doing. I went in for a tuneup. I thought he changed all 8 so I went for a test drive car running like crap worst than before I brought it to them. Came back to the shop looked under hood he only changed seven of the eight plugs and wires and did not gap the plugs . One was to hard for him to get to so he left it, So now have to take truck to dealer to get done right.IF YOU LOVE YOUR VEHICLE STAY AWAY THEM IT WILL ONLY COST YOU MORE MONEY IN THE LONG RUN.

While my car was in his shop he drove it thru the Portsmouth tunnel, he said to match the headlight. I got the bills because it is my car, he admitted it was him that made the charge. I sent him every bill I got, now its been sent to a collection agency. I cannot renew my license plates that expire the end of this month until its paid. For awhile he gave me excuses, then it was flat out lies. Now he is ghosting me. He owns his shop, I live on social security month to month. He was my trusted mechanic for 16 years. He used to say I wasn't just a customer I was a friend, with friends like that I don't need enemies. I would have given him 0 stars but not an option.

Took my car here and asked them to check my head gasket. Told me it was good, no engine problem. Told me the overheat condition was a bad water pump, then a radiator hole, then gunked up Dex-Cool, then blamed me for not having done maintenance. Then told me it was blocked up cooling ports on the engine, and the engine had to be cleaned and the head gasket replaced. So much aggravation. Trust me, you don't need the run around like I got. Never a straight answer should be their new motto. Rude and condescending help, didn't see any ASE certified mechanics signs anywhere. So sorry I ever walked through the door.

STAY AWAY!!!! Was going to get brakes done but he offered to install brakes from a totally different make and model that "should work fine" Wanted money up front and there is no way those parts would fit or even bolt up to the car.

Thank you for making my 2003 SUV run like new again! You earned a customer for life and I will definitely bring you more business. After 2 recommendations from 2 separate sources, I thought I'd give this shop a try as it's very difficult finding a good, honest shop who repairs only what is wrong at a more than fair price. I highly recommend this awesome crew and I sincerely appreciate the kindness and professionalism they bestowed upon me when my truck was very sick! THANK YOU!

Carl had my vehicle for over a year. I paid up front $2500 back in February 2016. I contacted Carl several times over the course of a year and each time there were several excuses as to why the vehicle had still not been repaired. After taking him to court and several non kept promises to return either my vehicle or the money that I paid up front we have now reached the two year anniversary since I handed over possession of my vehicle. The court sentenced Mr. Carl to return my funds back as well as the car back in July 2017 and he has avoided all phones calls since this date. This has been the worst experience and I would NEVER recommend this shop. PLEASE GO ON YELP FOR TWO RECENTLY POSTED REVIEWS WITH THE SAME TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!

We take all three of our cars here for service. The mechanics know what they are doing! The manager is always friendly and upfront about the service and the price.

Long but may save you money. I’ve been using this shop since their doors opened over twenty years ago. In 2009 I purchased the “lifetime brakes” for my truck. Come to find out, I had already purchased this in the past. Of course they didn’t advise me that my brakes were already covered and yes, my mistake for not checking my records so I ended up buying it again now having “two lifetime warranties” for the same thing. My vehicles and purchases are in their computer so they could have told me. I have been up to this same Big Al’s three times in the last few months due to a noticeable difference in braking. Each time they have checked my brakes and told me that the pads aren’t worn enough. Today was the last time I had them check. This will also be the last time I spend a dime with Big Al’s, anywhere! I am currently 1/32 of an inch off so they wouldn’t side with me, a long time paying customer and one who use to refer friends to them. I’ve wasted their time and mine. Putting a new set of front brakes one my vehicle would have been much cheaper than the amount of labor they have paid their mechanics for each of the three times they’ve spent checking my vehicle, only to get told to come back again after a while. I guess I’ll have to get lucky on guessing the wear of the brakes. The pads are so low, slow to stop and squeal so I imagine they’ll wear down until they dig into my brake rotors so that Big Al’s is able to make a profit on new rotors because the brakes are covered. It’s a shame that Big Al’s doesn’t give their managers room to make informed decisions and instead loose a 20 year plus customer. I don’t complain much and sure don’t have the time to write reviews so you can imagine the frustration point for not receiving what I’ve paid for. I also had to borrow a friend’s truck to tow something because I felt my brakes were unsafe and didn’t need to hurt someone or myself. The Staff tried to pull a fast one on my wife, trying to take advantage of a woman. They Drummed up false problems with our 2002 Volvo which I went over with a fine tooth comb before she took it in. They said her signal lights were not "Amber Enough" That the "Wipers were bad" Just replaced 2 months ago. And Side Markers were not fastened correctly. Then they tried the Snake Oil. Mam your Tie Rods are Bad. It will be $700+ Dollars but we will waive the Labor charges on the other items if you have the Tie Rods replaced here. Illegal Under STATE INSPECTION RULES. There was nothing wrong with the Tie Rods. When I confronted the owner,and asked them to justify this, they threw me out of the store. When I said I wasn't leaving, I was calling the State Police to report this as Fraud. I was Grabbed from behind By some Muscle Head in a bear hug that bruised my ribs. I have had surgery, and had a chest tube in that area and it was re-injured by him. I was tossed to the ground. I am Currently Seeking Charges against the offending Parties. DO NOT PATRONIZE THESE BULLIES.
