I came in without an appointment because my brakes were squeeling and Doug, the store manager, got me in and did a thorough brake inspection on my car. He brought me into the shop and showed me that how bad my pads had worn and it had taken a toll on my rotors. I am very appreciative not only for the great work that was done but, for how respectful all of them were to me! Thank you guys!!

So, this review is going to be a long one because it is a long story. I want people to know though. I took my car to get a State Inspection and an oil change. I had never been there before, but I though I would try it. Well, after waiting a normal amount of time I am told that my car needs two things to pass inspection. A transmission mount and a license plate bulb. I was told the transmission mount was broken, but that they did not have one. So, he said that he would call their warehouses to find one. He was unable to find one and said it would have to be ordered, so I told him I would try to find one myself and call him back if I couldn't. Well, I couldn't find it either except by ordering, so I just called him and told him to order it. This all happened on a Saturday. He promised me that they would have the part by Monday, so I said I would be there Wednesday morning to have the repair done. So, I drive up there Wednesday and walk in to get it repaired. I am then told that they have not received the part yet and that I will receive a call when they do. So, as I'm getting ready to leave I run into the man who I talked with Saturday. He then checks and tells me that what happened was they ordered the part, but the warehouse didn't do their job and order it. He says they might have it tomorrow. So, Saturday (a week later) I call them again and am told that they still don't have it. This time they tell me the warehouse dropped the ball and didn't inform them that the part wasn't available in the aftermarket world and that it would have to be ordered from the dealer. He then promises me that it is verified they will have it Tuesday and to bring in my car Wednesday ( a week and a half later from the first visit). So, I go in Wednesday (today) and they go ahead and pull it in and put it on a lift. I am then told that they received the wrong part. My car is a manual transmission, but they had received a mount for an automatic transmission. He tells me though that he ordered a backup with the dealership just in case this happened, but he won't have it until this afternoon. So, I have left my car their with them and await a phone call saying it is ready to go. I will update on what happens. So, as far as I'm concerned this is beyond unacceptable. Today is strike three. I'm extremely patient and had just wrote this off as an odd one time incident, but not now. This place seems incompetent and unable to simply obtain a part. The only reason I'm still having them do it is to get done today. If I get it done somewhere else they'll have to order it as well and there is no telling how that will go. Couldn't go worse than this though. So, if they don't get it fixed today, they can just forget and I'll go through the headache of taking it somewhere else. Either way, I'm never going back to Meineke. NEVER! I ALSO GIVE YOU A WARNING! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

These guys are great. I had work done at a local chain shop and they led me to believe I had a serious problem that would keep us from driving back to NC. I called Murray's, explained the situation and asked if they could take a look. Less than an hour later, they had carefully looked into things and found a minor oversight by the previous mechanic. It was cleared up and all is good. Attitude, courtesy, responsiveness, listening skills, mechanical understanding ... all top notch. Next time we're here and need auto work - I'll go to them first. Without hesitation. -Jim

Wow! Talk about compassionate people...this staff is AWESOME! I had a problem with my tires (TOYO) from the factory, only 12,000 miles on my 2013 car. I explained the problem and they got right on it. One tire appears to be out-of-round and all lose tire pressure together and the light comes on. I am very picky about my vehicles and have been to the dealer as scheduled for rotation and balance. Just had an alignment done that barely was needed,,only right toe off a bit. These people called the office and went to TOYO for answers. I haven't heard back from factory yet, but if you want someone who cares and knows their stuff. The mechanic, William, explained everything in details I could understand. It appears 2013 Mazda 5 may have some camber issues on this model. There is a kit to fix the adjustment. They didn't charge for the inspection, info, or rotation. The one tire still has issues (that is NOT their fault). They are working on getting them replaced for me! Thanks everyone who assisted and especially William and April Foster. Recommend this place!
