Engine repair service near Little Boston, WA

I took my 95 Ford f150 here on the recommendation of Discount Tire for an alignment. I had replaced the entire front end linkage and the truck REALLY needed an alignment after that! They did the work as asked. I picked up the truck and they told me that things weren't really aligned because I needed a new pitman arm. I told them I'd be back in a few weeks. A few weeks or so later, I made an appointment to have the pitman arm replaced and the truck realigned. This was strategic on my part as it would immediately follow me replacing the front springs and shocks. I drop the car off, I pick it up and the camber looks insane. Must have been 5 to 10 degrees positive! VERY noticeable with the naked eye. I, of course, asked about the camber and was told that camber is not adjustable on the Ford twin I beam suspension. I paid my bill and went home where I did some research. Here's what I discovered... There is a camber bushing that needs to replaced on the twin I beam suspension. Correcting the camber is expensive (the bushings are about $60 each retail) but hardly impossible. Further, I learned that the pitman arm is a non-wearable item on a 95 F150. I am not seeking my money back from them. I made the mistake of trusting them and my penance is being out that money. Instead, when I say a place where I can write a review of this shop, I do. I want to tell everybody that these guys have no clue what they're doing. I didn't bring in anything bizarre or exotic, just a mid-90's Ford truck, something around 1 million of these things were built. This is not a rare car at all! This shop couldn't perform a simple task on a common vehicle and didn't know what they didn't know. Alternatively, they knew that they didn't do the job and simply lied to me.

I regret taking my truck to gene. First of all he was very rude and condescending to me, he talked to as if I knew nothing about my truck simply because I am a woman. I took my ford f150 to him for new brakes and he put on the wrong brake pads!!! Within 1 day of getting it back, the brakes were completely shot as they had been way over heated trying to stop my truck. I almost rear ended someone when they went out! I had he also re-build the transmission. This took over a week which seemed a little long to me, but he is a 1 man shop, no one else works there, which also seems odd to me now that I think back on it.... Long story short, I paid $5,000 for his services, he called to tell me that he had also found some bad wiring that needed to be placed, and that I needed a new radiator!!! I had had no previous issues with these parts before I took my truck to him. Long story short, I had to take my truck to ford for the brakes and talked gene's car care over with their service reps

Horrible treatment re my BMW...mechanic shop owner more interested in my phone number and asking me out to dinner than my tuneup...also kept car longer than told...price was right ;)

No one likes to shell out hundreds of dollars to fix an unexpected car malfunction, but Hermann's made the process easier with affordable pricing, knowledgable staff and a speedy process. When my car's AC went out during a particularly hot spell, Victor recharged my AC quickly and it was significantly cheaper than some of the other places I've looked at. All the staff was easy to talk to and they really knew what they were talking about. Dragon auto is the place. They have a quick turnaround, stick to the quoted price, and do good work. My 2006 Chevy Express van needed a new water pump and radiator tank. I have been taking my Ford Explorer to Eric for several years whenever I need things fixed. He has always treated me with respect and has always been very helpful on explaining what needed to be done and the most economical way to get there. My Ford is an older Ford, but is still in really good condition. I plan to drive it into the ground and will always have Eric do the repair work on it. One of the best service experiences I have ever encountered. The service was completed earlier than promised. I wasn't prepared for it to be done quite that soon. As I'm handed the keys I was given the promise to be taken care of if the AC unit didn't perform. TOP NOTCH!
