From Chicago, we were in Pensacola and needed tires on our Ford C-Max to be aligned. The rear tires were more than an inch out of alighment, which had caused serious cupping. Beware! I suggested that my son (a student at UWF) visit here to have an alternator replaced. I checked around for alternator cost - around $140 for a 99 Camry. My son went to this Tuffy and they charged him $268 for the same alternator we could have picked up anywhere - a total bill of $450 for a $140 alternator and an hour of labor. Highway robbery! When I called to complain to the manager he argued that they were a retail store and that any price I may have found was irrelevant. I told the manager that he represented the reason why mechanics have such a bad name. He didnt't care. I am a mechanic in Central FL and that job would have cost any customer of mine between $220 and $240. Beware!
