be careful with these people, they quote you 1 price tell you thats all you need, then change their tune and up the bill 200.00 w/o any prior authorization. i have all their voice mails saved and phone calls after the fact recorded where they contradict themselves not a very good business practice !

Chris did some work on our truck and he did an amazing job and was so nice! I would highly recommend him to anyone and will absolutely use him in the future if we have a need again. Not only was he honest but he took his time and explained why he was doing everything and also showed my son what he was doing and allowed him to watch and learn. This is one of the best shops in town. I have been going to them for years. I know cars, I can fix cars. It killed me when I came to the realization that I don't have the time to mess with that sort of thing anymore and had to trust someone else to be honest and competent with my vehicles. We bought a transmission from ABC Transmissions about 6 months ago. Recently we started hearing a sqealing noise that sounded like it was coming from the transmission. So we called ABC and ask them if we brought it in could they look at it. He said he would check it out. He took the transmission completly apart and inspected everything in front of us and we came to the conclusion that it was the flywheel, not the transmission. I was very surprised that he didn't even charge us to take it apart and put it back together again. Especially since it was not the tranmission or anything that was their fault. We got a good deal on the transmission in the first place and in most cases you get what you pay for so we were a little conserned. But in some cases you can get a great deal on a good job/product and superior customer service. I will always recommend ABC Transmission to everyone!

Virginia Auto Service does great work, The AC in my car went out and they were able to get me in the next day. They found the problem quickly and fixed it reasonably, plus they gave me a ride to work what more could you ask for!

I can't say enough about Chester's. My Daughter at Elon University had some issues with our Audi - Chester spent a lot of time diagnosing the problem found out it was a major issue with the cam shaft. I checked online and found out it was covered under a 10 year Audi extended warranty. I had the car towed to Audi of Greensboro. I asked Chester what I owed him...he didn't charge me! Wow - If we weren't three hours away I would take all my cars there. Nice honest and competent.

I have been taking my 2009 Hyundai Elantra here for years and always have a pleasant experience. They are great at communicating, and when my car needed to stay for a couple of days, they graciously provided a "loaner" at no charge. And I always enjoy looking at the latest artist installation on the walls while I am there (I've been tempted to buy a couple of pieces once or twice!) I know there's the old cliche that women are taken advantage of at repair shops because we generally don't know a lot about cars, but with a woman owner - who is a mechanic herself - and 90-percent women employees (including a working mechanic), I always feel like I'm getting the straight story, explained to me in a way that I can understand!
