Randy and his crew are by far the most honest mechanics I have ever known. They have done service or repairs on my truck, wife's SUV, and several sport's cars I've owned. I tried them first about 9 years ago because I wanted to support a local shop. I was/am so impressed with their knowledge, pricing and, above all, customer service. I've never found a business of ANY kind that provides such outstanding customer service and stands so firmly behind their work. That's why I recommend them to all of my friends and relatives.

We have been bringing our Toyota, Lexus and Hondas here for years now. They keep excellent records, take good care of your car, and always give you a straight, honest answer on the car's problem. Jesus is pleasant and knowledgeable on the phone and keeps in touch while the car is in the shop. They treat you and your car like family. We bought a transmission from ABC Transmissions about 6 months ago. Recently we started hearing a sqealing noise that sounded like it was coming from the transmission. So we called ABC and ask them if we brought it in could they look at it. He said he would check it out. He took the transmission completly apart and inspected everything in front of us and we came to the conclusion that it was the flywheel, not the transmission. I was very surprised that he didn't even charge us to take it apart and put it back together again. Especially since it was not the tranmission or anything that was their fault. We got a good deal on the transmission in the first place and in most cases you get what you pay for so we were a little conserned. But in some cases you can get a great deal on a good job/product and superior customer service. I will always recommend ABC Transmission to everyone!

The service we received from this store was above excellent. Fast, courteous, well educated and knowledgeable transmission repair technicians. They went above and beyond the call of duty and repaired the car quickly and cost was extremely reasonable. I can't say enough about Chester's. My Daughter at Elon University had some issues with our Audi - Chester spent a lot of time diagnosing the problem found out it was a major issue with the cam shaft. I checked online and found out it was covered under a 10 year Audi extended warranty. I had the car towed to Audi of Greensboro. I asked Chester what I owed him...he didn't charge me! Wow - If we weren't three hours away I would take all my cars there. Nice honest and competent.

I have been taking my 2009 Hyundai Elantra here for years and always have a pleasant experience. They are great at communicating, and when my car needed to stay for a couple of days, they graciously provided a "loaner" at no charge. And I always enjoy looking at the latest artist installation on the walls while I am there (I've been tempted to buy a couple of pieces once or twice!) I know there's the old cliche that women are taken advantage of at repair shops because we generally don't know a lot about cars, but with a woman owner - who is a mechanic herself - and 90-percent women employees (including a working mechanic), I always feel like I'm getting the straight story, explained to me in a way that I can understand! Virginia Auto Service does great work, The AC in my car went out and they were able to get me in the next day. They found the problem quickly and fixed it reasonably, plus they gave me a ride to work what more could you ask for!

THIS is the place to go for honest automotive work. I have been coming here since 2007 for oil changes, car battery, emissions and other various work over the years. I have referred two friends to this shop and both have thanked me profusely for doing so. I cannot recommend this place enough. This is the real deal and they will not give you the run around.

I went in for a power steering leak. They said my rack and pinion needed replaced. They misquoted me the price. Held my car for ransom 5 days. Would not put my old one back on because they damaged it. They charged me 2000.00 to get my car back. A power steering leak turned into 2000.00 job. They are liars, and argument. Both Ray and Greg.

Sat on my car for months and never finished work place is a huge scam

I took my daughter's 2005 Chevy Malibu to have some work done on her transmission, and i have not found a shop or customer service better then I did at Advanced Transmissions in a long long while. Advanced Transmissions has been in business many years now and they do good work, the way shops used to do back in the day when people actually cared about helping each other. So i am telling you, if you want an honest company that will do you right and give you a firm handshake go to Advanced Transmissions and talk to the guys at the front there.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! They will rip you off! Took my car after having issues with my ac was told I needed a new compressor it would be $1000.00 for a NEW ac compressor. Day one I"m told the dealer sent the wrong compressor, Day two the right compressor came in but it was "defective" Day three car is finished and fixed. I pay them and receipt clearly states new equipment installed. On the drive home I notice ac is still not working at all. I get home and open the hood and I find my original used compressor. I called the owner Julio and he hung up on me. Called back and threaten to call the police and he explains it's their mistake and they will fix it. He said they could have "accidentally" installed a rebuilt compressor. I told him I knew he was lying because it was not a used, rebuilt or new part in fact I could prove from the serial # it was my original compressor. They will lie, cheat and steal do not go here! Take it to a real mechanic. My AC still does not work until this mess is reversed thru my bank.

NEVER EVER GO HERE... THEY DO NOT REPAIR OR REPLACE ANYTHING.... THEY ARE A TOTAL RIP OFF ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY
