Transmission Work

I took my daughter's 2005 Chevy Malibu to have some work done on her transmission, and i have not found a shop or customer service better then I did at Advanced Transmissions in a long long while. Advanced Transmissions has been in business many years now and they do good work, the way shops used to do back in the day when people actually cared about helping each other. So i am telling you, if you want an honest company that will do you right and give you a firm handshake go to Advanced Transmissions and talk to the guys at the front there.

Transmission replaced

Greg Kaiser, the owner of Advanced Transmission and Emissions, Called me after I spoke with someone at his shop. He told me that he could fix the transmission problems that I was having with my Chevy 3500HD for less than it would cost me at the dealer. So I trusted him and took advantage of the "free tow" so I could get a second opinion and save some money. He changed the price and length of time that it would take to complete the job three times. He then told me that he would be better off matching the dealers price and installing a brand new Chevy transmission. He told be that it would be as good as new and come with a 3 year, 100,000 mile warrantee. He called me the next day to get a credit card number. I asked him if the truck was completed and ready to go. He then informed me that the truck needed to go to a dealership to be flashed because he did not have the equipment to complete the job. This would add an additional $240 to the price that he promised. He then held my truck hostage and insisted that I pay cash. It turns out that he installed a remanufactured transmission, did not and will not give me the proper paperwork for warrantee needs, charged an additional $180 for free towing, became belligerent and hung up on me several times when trying to resolve the issue. Greg did not do the job that was asked or that he promised. Greg lies through his teeth and continues to send threatening texts.

Tim Delgado

Tim Delgado, the service manager is a very friendly and professional mechanic. He always kept me updated on the status of my car, and though the cost was a bit more than what they originally anticipated, they still saved me $560. They guaranteed me to beat or match any others price, and i was more than happy with the results. My car had some engine trouble and the AC was not working properly (in AZ that is a big Oh-oh). My 02 Chevy Silverado is now blowing colder than ever and I won’t have to worry about a heat stroke in this weather. They also have a great 1 year unlimited miles warranty for those of us who love road trips!!

Transmission

My Mother had brought her van in for transmission service about a year ago. She spent almost $2,000 for what she thought was a new transmission with a 1 year warranty. She had brought her car in over the course of the year for routine service with the most recent being 8/1/13 with her car still being under warranty. Today, we brought her car in because she could sense something was wrong with the transmission. We were told that her 4th gear was on the verge of being gone and that a costly repair was necessary. I had spoken with several people at the shop and was told they were going to make a “deal” with me, my mom would have to pay for the parts which range from $500-800 and they would waive the labor. My question was, if this was a “new” transmission why would it be going out right after the warranty and why wasn’t anything detected during the routine service that just occurred less than two months ago while the car was under warranty? Well, first contrary to what my mom was told, and what she had expressed to the transmission dealer, she was NOT given a new transmission. Her old transmission was “rebuilt” according to the owner; $1,800 for a rebuilt transmission? Second, when I called to ask why a “new” or “rebuilt” transmission would begin to deteriorate after a year, I was told simply “it happens”. The owner began to tell me that the dealership is as strong as the people in the back, basically implying (my interpretation) that the person who worked on my Moms car a year ago was no longer with him. I don’t know under what circumstances he may have left, however I got the impression he may have done a poor job on my moms car. Basically, because someone on his staff didn’t do their job right it now became my mother’s problem. I was basically asking question trying to understand how a “new” or “rebuilt” transmission could become faulty after a short period of time, I got a condescending answer in return. I will say that my mother’s van is old

Emission Check

I went into this business this morning (1/16/2013) after my son called around to get prices. My van had failed the pressure portion of the emissions test so I wanted to get the repair done. I gave the shop owner my keys to the van, thinking they were going to pull it into the garage and begin the work. Instead one of their mechanics took it for a joy ride. This would not had been a problem had he simply TOLD ME they were taking it for a drive. My girlfriend's stain glass sculpture WERE in a file cabinet in the back of the van. When they returned from joyriding, the back of the van was a disaster....broken glass everywhere and not even an apology from the owner...just a $65 bill for telling me the leak was coming from my tank and I could pay them another $300 to fix it. I should have heeded the reviews of this place. My girlfriend think we should sue them for damages. We took pictured and are weighing our option. Do not use this shop for anything.

transmission flush, timing belt /waterpump replaced

On 10/29/2012, I asked Greg Kaiser, the owner/operator of Advanced Transmissions and Emissions for the following services to be performed at 2849 E. Bell Rd. Phoenix AZ 85032. Full Transmission fluid replace with new filter and gasket, water pump, timing belt, belt tensioner, idler pulley and assorted gaskets for maintenance reasons. • Unfortunately, the service was not performed correctly, and I was billed the wrong amount. I was charged for a full fluid replacement. But transmission fluid was only replaced not flushed (Fully Replaced). I am also disappointed because there are several marks down to the bare metal on the driver side rear door and also a mark with grease on the driver’s side mirror. These marks are large and can be easily seen I hand washed the car and these marks were not on the car before I came to Advanced Transmissions and Emissions. Greg Kaiser, denies all. Go to another shop Period.

Transmission

I was referred to Advanced Transmission & Emissions by a dear friend of mine. He said they were trustworthy, honest and that they gave superior customer service to their customers. On 05-16-12 the transmission to my 2002 ford escape was replaced for an outstanding price and a job well done. Since then I have brought sever businesses to them and have been continuously satisfied with their services. In addition to an excellent hospitality, their trained technical staffs have not gone unnoticed. I would like to thank the staff for their patience and willingness to resolve whatever issue is going on with my vehicle at the time of service. I also want to thank the front staff for their outstanding warm customer service they often provide. They all make me feel most welcome whenever I am at the garage regarding my car issues. All my friends and family would surely know about what excellent job Advanced Transmission & Emissions do as well as the superior customer service they provide to their customers.

Transmission

The car was running but had a transmission issue. The car had a full tank of gas and was clean. The car leaked nothing and I pointed that out when I dropped the car off. The car was test driven and the issue could no be reproduced. They said the transmission fluid was fine but they kept the car to drive it more and then called the next day to say yes there is a problem. After transmission was all pulled apart I was told the transmission fluid was burnt and the transmission was all messed up and needed lots of repair. Funny the car drove when I brought it in. Fine, get me a new transmission, oh sure $4000.00 please. $600.00 for the transmission fluid alone. OK, my bad, I bought a Jaguar for $3000.00 which needs a $4000.00 transmission. The owner worked with the bill and said he would cut the cost of the service. The car also had a coolant light that came on but I was aware of it. Well he ordered a sensor to fix it. I told him it was not needed but since he put it in fine. Got the car home, seems to be leaking something. Now check engine light comes on, restricted performance. The wire to the coolant sensor is missing? Back to the shop, now I need an Oxygen sensor, mechanic admits the sensor did not fix the issue so he did not connect the wire. He tells me it will be a week for the new part. I wake up the next morning and decided I will pickup the car and take care of it elsewhere. I call after work to say I'm coming to get it and I'm told it's all ready to go. I asked about the 1 week for the part and I'm told he asked for it to be sent by FedEx but he wanted to drive the car home to make sure everything was fine. I pay the fee, minus the cost of the sensor which I never should have had them touch. He tells me its all cleaned and ready to go. I get out of there as fast as I can, gas is on empty, gas light on, grease smears here and there and on the carpet of my champagne interior, cracked speaker, someone with big boots was not careful getting out of

Free towing for which I was charged

Charged me for free towing. Verbally & physically threatened me & my 18 year old son. Held my car until I paid. I picketed his business. Greg Kaiser, the owner, punched me in the face knocking me into 3 lanes of traffic on Bell Rd.i am 67 years old & weigh 150 lbs Greg the bully cheat is 6' 205 lbs and is approximately 16 years younger. He is extremely violent and unpredictable. Watch out for this nut case he may hurt you. Oh, by the way, he assaulted me then charged me with assault. I finally went to court on the assault charge on May 22, 2012. Greg Kaiser got on the stand & lied through his teeth. On the stand he proved to be a real dumb ass. Not that that suprised me. When on the stand testifying, the fool opened all sorts of doors that allowed me to tell my full story. Without this dummy testifying I could have been falsey convicted. Thanks dumb ass. Be careful, he may be dumb but makes up for it with intimidation and violence. My name is Rick Eiland and I am a real customer. Jim, I believe you were coerced into testifying by Mr.Roid Rage. I hold nothing against you. ricke012@gamil.com. e-mail me & tell me your story. PS I see "Crooked Kaiser" has hired a firm to clean the many many bad reviews from the internet on multiple sites.

Service Provided

I recently had Advance transmission install some parts on my truck ending up to $1357 worth of labor and a few parts and which took over 6 days to complete the work. While on vacation driving on a dirt road the idler arm came out and wedged itself in the inner tie rod bushing. leaving the vehicle unable to turn right. I had the truck towed and inspected by another shop which informed me that the sway bar bolts were loose and the pitman arm was missing the cotter pin and the idler arm was missing the nut and the cotter pin and to top it all off my splash plate was completely missing. I informed Advanced Transmission of the damaged that was caused by their improper installation and the missing splash plate and the $407.70 bill that was the result of their neglect. After countless phone calls and excuses their verdict of my situation was that they would not compensate me for the $407.70 bill. I have never had or wish such a horrible experience & Do Not Recommend Advanced Transmission.
