Auto glass repair service near Phoenix, AZ

Many issues here. 1. They are insurance adjuster friendly. In essence minimal repair work, and anything they damage is a fight to get corrected. 2. They do not admit their mistakes if they make one. (According to them they don't make mistakes.) 3. They will argue over the definition of what prior damage was if they think they are correct and tell you you are wrong and not make it right, even when obvious. 4. They are correct the customer is wrong in how they handle issues. If you ever get involved in a minor bumper issue, don't go here! They will try to fix it vs replace it, even if the bumper is warped after the accident. Leaving ripples and cracks they paint over and sows up right away. They will claim it is prior damage even if there is no records to back up their claim. They will give the best quote for the least work to keep providers like All State making them a preferred body shop. What they really mean is a preferred rip off shop. They are the worst body shop in the valley by a long shot. And I have dealt with several. I have never been treated so poorly, and belittled by any business ever. Their manager was not helpful in resolving the issues we had either. The office ladies were snarky and twisted details, and also lied to the insurance company about certain details of the damages to save face. The uper management and owners of this company should be checking on this asap. These are serious issues that may lead to legal repercussions if not resolved.

Today was my first visit to Schorie and it was a great experience as opposed to other repair shops! I believe I actually found a decent, honest and respectful auto repair shop. I took my car to them with a right rear wheel making a loud scraping noise. I thought surely it was an issue with my brakes hence preparing for a large repair bill! It was the exact opposite when Rick came out and said it wasn’t the brakes but a back plate somehow got bent and was rubbing up against the rotor. I was shocked knowing how many shops would have come out and said that will cost $500 or so to fix. When I asked him what I owed for the repair Rick said “Nothing at all, it was an easy fix”. how many repair shops would have done that? I guess you know where I’ll be taking my car for any further repairs! Thank you Schorie Team….

I had Dale Jr. look over what the problem was . he diagnoses the issue which was actually the same result. AZM fixed it for Half the price that the dealer wanted..... Great Job AZM . Thanks Dale!!!

Desert Auto Works is a trusted family favorite. My brother-in-law recommended them to my Dad, who recommended them to me. Ownership/management has changed from Ken to Diego and Sergio, and we continue to use them for years now. They are not my sole auto repair source, because I like to have several flavors of mechanic.Desert AutoWorks has a smart, small, business-like flavor. They are not the cheapest, but your car and your phone call do not get lost in a shuffle; they keep you generally well-informed. They are not bozos when it comes to diagnostics. Though they do sometimes make mistakes, they make a sincere effort to take personal responsibility for diagnostics. They don't do unnecessary, dishonest work. They do not pad their recommendations or seek to meet service billings goals like a Midas shop.

I was told at installation of the product that it was quality OEM level glass and that it was under warranty for one year. I SPECIFICALLY asked as to the warranty and glass type, and was told it was American Made OEM quality with a warranty of 1-year. Four months after installation, all it took was a small peeble to make the glass crack and splinter. I have driven this same type of vehicle for decades and the OEM glass does not crack when hit by peebles EVER, it took a large rock to break the glass that was replaced and even then it was only a small crack. This is NOT quality glass, that was a lie. When I contacted the company about the warranty, they acted like they had no idea what that was. They then said maybe they could fill it FOR A FEE (warranty??), but they wouldn't come out for 4 days. I advised that the car cannot be driven with crack in location it is, and they installed the un-quality glass and lied to me about it, so they should make it a priority to fix it and maintain customer service. They refused to make any effort to fix their error in lying about the quality of the glass or the supposed warranty. Liars - Avoid them. BTW - This is not a professional company like they try to advertise. It is two guys working out of their house in Mesa. If you try to get anywhere, it is useless other than to file with the BBB, because it is just them and they can lie to you all they want and no one to check them.

Great work by honest people. Owner apologized for the cost of replacing the serpentine belt because the floor had to be removed to access the engine. Not their fault.
