RUN, don't walk AWAY from this THIEF Adiel Herrera!!! I bought a used car from him on Craigslist. When I drove the car, everything seemed PERFECT! The A/C & heat worked GREAT, no oil leaks, etc. I found out the real story was that he was an old lady's mechanic. (she was the original owner from 1989). Her transmission went out, and Adiel wanted $3000 to fix it. The poor old lady didn't have the money, so he offered her $800 for the car (with only 75,000 orig miles!) He then "fixed" the transmission, and turned around and sold it to me for a lot more! One of his mechanics is under the hood right NOW, putting in a new air conditioner for over $400! I asked him since he guaranteed everything worked, couldn't I get SOME kind of discount, but he just walked away!!!!! I will NEVER bring my car to him again, and I can't wait to get the hell out of here! What a horrible "man" and business person!!!!

This place was busy right away this morning when I arrived. Still they were able to squeeze me in. I thought I need a tire patched as it was flat. Ends up it was only a bad valve stem. They switched it out in no time and didn't t even charge. I was pretty surprised and quite speechless. Thanks a lot guys. By much appreciate and you'll be seeing me again when it's time for new tires. John Sheridan

Very bad service. They don't honor a verbal promise.Calif Labor Code:920. The employee refused to give me a free retest.Even though he had evidence I was a customer entitled to a re-test.Breach of Contract. His words were as follows:"Get out of here ,I don't want you're buisness." I was definetly mislead in comming here.

Today 8/8/2015 I took my truck to SmogZone at 12365 it was about 3:45PM, they closed at 4:00PM. I was greeted by John Yang who speaks limited English. In short he ran a SMOG Test on my truck, he never brought it into the bay to run any RPM tests. At 4PM he tells me "Oh your truck didn't pass." On the form he points to Smoke Check. He said "I do not know what that is, you must go to a SMOG Certification to have it checked, I'll charge you $35 to retest in 30 days." I was so upset, the truck has 36,000 miles, not a hint of smoke. I came home and looked up Smoke Check and found he is the one who enters Smoke Check. I plan to dispute the $49.75 he charged me. I should have known based on their previous bad reviews not to go there.

This is one mechanic shop that you would like to visit when you really need your car fixed. They really take care of you, very honest, reasonable and they do things right the first time. Harbor Brake Service is a place I trust, and have for years even back in the days of Fred and Wayne Lebsack. Evan -- the current owner -- maintains the tradition of honesty and fairness. He will tell you when something truly needs to be done, and he'll let you know when something can wait. His prices are competitive and excellent for the quality. I've had brakes done, along with occasional suspension work, and it is the absolute only place I will go for an alignment. He will work with you to arrange a convenient appointment, and works fast. Other than being a longtime satisfied customer, I have no connection with Harbor Brake. I consider it one of the best automotive service centers in the entire county. You won't be disappointed.
