Established in 1931, Harbor Brake & Automotive Service has faithfully served San Pedro with quality auto repair for over 80 years. The shop was owned by the Lebsack family for two generations. During that time it earned a superb reputation for honesty and quality that generations of faithful customers have come to appreciate.
In 2004, Wayne Lebsack retired and sold the business to the Yankovich family, San Pedro natives who are just as knowledgeable and as honest. Today, Harbor Brake & Automotive Service is helmed by Evan Yankovich, who ensures that Harbor Brake will continue to prosper and uphold its excellent reputation, earned through decades of service to the San Pedro community.

Auto Repair
I do most of my automotive service myself. What I don't do, or can't do, goes to the few places I trust. Harbor Brake Service is a place I trust, and have for years even back in the days of Fred and Wayne Lebsack. Evan -- the current owner -- maintains the tradition of honesty and fairness. He will tell you when something truly needs to be done, and he'll let you know when something can wait. His prices are competitive and excellent for the quality. I've had brakes done, along with occasional suspension work, and it is the absolute only place I will go for an alignment. He will work with you to arrange a convenient appointment, and works fast. Other than being a longtime satisfied customer, I have no connection with Harbor Brake. I consider it one of the best automotive service centers in the entire county. You won't be disappointed.
