I never thought I'd find a mechanic that would delight me enough to write a 5 star review, but this place is different than any other auto mechanic I've ever dealt with.I came in for regular 30K service and spongy brakes, expecting a costly brake job, among other things. After dropping off the car, my phone rang a short while later. I answered, going into my typical defensive mode that I've grown accustomed to from past experience with auto mechanics, ready to question every single thing "wrong" with the car and the thousands of dollars about to be estimated to fix it."Your car's fine," said the voice on the other end. He explained that the brakes had plenty of life left and just needed to be bled. The only thing needed was an oil change and new air filter. I've been going to Paul's Battery & Tire Service for years, as well as many of my friends and family. Some of these reviews are vicious, and I am here to say they do an excellent job mechanically and I can always take my truck in and they check and rotate my tires for free. The manager Amit was very helpful. He actually showed me how bad my brakes were while the car was on a lift. I knew they were bad but to actually see it with my own eyes made a difference. He had my pads replaced and saved my brake disc by resurfacing them. In the end.... I was in and out within an hour. I saved over $250 for My brakes are great! I highly recommend them!
