This is my go to mechanic shop. My car is a 1991 Toyota Celica that was a gift from my grandpa before he passed so with that sentiment I'm trying to restore her to classic glory. This is where Chris and his trusty crew, Izzy and CJ come in. My upper engine and cooling system needed an overhaul this time but now it sounds quiet, smooth, with better acceleration while curing the overheating problem I was having. Had to throw in that 4-star rating, so you'd know I was paying attention! (The new tires are fine.) *** Would like GPS advice. I'm a map-persons, but my paper map doesn't tell me where the traffic tie-ups are. I don't think I could drive and wrestle my cell phone. Are there other options you might suggest that I look into?

Sunset Garage deserves more stars than 5. I have fired so many mechanics in my life, and it must have been because I was waiting to find Georges and his crew. I have been using them for well over ten years and am one of their biggest fans. I ALWAYS recommend them anytime somebody brings up an auto issue. I've been going to Paul's Battery & Tire Service for years, as well as many of my friends and family. Some of these reviews are vicious, and I am here to say they do an excellent job mechanically and I can always take my truck in and they check and rotate my tires for free. They are trustworthy, fast and honest. Plus they have been there forever....a native San Franciscan. whoop whoop

The Best body and paint work I've seen thus far. I highly recommend Spectrum, I recently had my BMW hit from the side and the paint and body work looks as if nothing happened, blended well and you can never tell it was hit! There reasonable, trustworthy and most important fast! They won't have your car on the back burner, will expedite quickly while being precise! They do everything from classics to common cars to expotics this is a great body shop! A+++ :)
