Brought my Honda Element in for an oil leak. Other place wanted to replace head gasket, but Rusty diagnosed it to just the valve cover gasket and camshaft end caps. Saved me from unnecessary repairs. BnC seems to be very honest and only fix what really needs to be fixed. They are not trying to sell you or talk you into all kind of repairs. I can highly recommend them and will bring our cars there for any needs in the future.

I have been coming to North Coast for a couple years now. They have great friendly service and go above and beyond for their customers.

Had a flat a year ago and stopped by and they fixed it in ten minutes. Did not want payment. Gave them a cash "tip" for their good service.Next two months ago bought four new tires. Called, made appt. arrived, tires on and out the door in less than 30 minutes. Price was right.Today, had a low pressure tire warning. Stopped by and they checked the tires, no puncture, added air and again did not want payment. They have a good attitude and excellent service.

What can I say? Unbelievable service from Dan (the owner)! He personally stepped in and made a horrible situation bearable. Our daughter wrecked her beautiful BMW (which we purchased from Dan). She took it to the BMW dealership and they wanted $$$$ to fix it. I called Dan and he immediately started working to help me out. He studied the estimate from BMW, researched the parts needed to fix her car (way past office hours), and gave me an estimate of what he thought the repairs would run. And it's not a surprise it was a fraction of the previous estimate! Dan set up the tow, ordered the parts and fixed my daughter's car in less than a week. It was short of miraculous! On top of the incredible service, Dan threw in a personal 'car class' to educate our daughter how to properly take care of a car. I had them performed an engine swap in my Jaguar. The job was complicated because I had a Corvette 5.7L engine used to replace the 4.0L Jaguar engine. The job was completed in 2 days without any problem. Other shops that wanted the job asked for 7 days at least. I'm glad I found these guys - they are now mechanic for life. Good job!!! Eric and his team were great. They didn't have my tire in stock and my dealership didn't have time to change my tire this weekend, so i purchased the tire from the dealership and these guys took care of me free of charge. Not only that, they informed me that the dealership sold me a used tired when i bought a new one. I appreciate these guys for being upfront and giving me advice on the situation. Will be returning for all repairs in the future.

Great customer service - I originally bought 4 Winnrun tires in Murrieta and "tested" them on my commute to work - 60 miles. Horrible tire for an Audi A4. Manager at store of purchase said they were similar to my Toyo's. Ummm, no...So I went into the Kearny Mesa location and was greeted by Daniel and Joey I told them my issue and was promptly issued a credit for the tires and exchanged them for a set of Toyo. I love FTS because I can trust them. That's a big thing for me when going to see a mechanic, especially for the first time. They have the most incredible reviews and I got a glowing referral for their services. They lived up to ALL the hype. I went in for an oil change and I got a no-nonsense assessment of what needed to be done and when. They didn't try to oversell me or get me to fix things that weren't in need of repair. I really appreciate that! They also worked quickly and got me in with little notice and completed my service before the estimated time. I will definitely be back to FTS, in fact, I have my other car scheduled for this week. :)

I've taken my Audi TT roadster to Griffin's several times. They have take great care of the care of it. They know the ins and outs of repairing Audis, so I'm not waiting for days while they scout around for parts and figure out how to get the repair done. Ryan is an amazing mechanic! Very knowledgable, personable, and honest. I recently moved from LA and have used the same mechanic for 15yrs on my Acura's, so I was hesitant to find a new one in SD. I was so pleased to find Ryan, b/c his approach was very similar to Jay my previous mechanic. He was able to fix my brakes, change the oil, replace the door locking mechanism, and have Hertz pick me up and get me a rental car: all for a reasonable price.
