Mark and all the folks at Preferred Auto are the best. Since i have had a couple German cars lately i haven't been there for a year or two. When i brought in a used Acura for them to check before i bought, they did an extremely thorough check, and though it was low miles, the car was older and needed more work than i wished to do. The charge was more than reasonable, i would have been happy even if it had been 50% higher for the work done. They are always honest and fair and look out for their customers first. They clearly know that is what has made them so successful. THE BEST! Wish they worked on German sheet metal!! Howard Kaplan

Made the mistake of buying with cash. New dakota pickup stumbles at 2400 RPM. westoaks claims it is "characteristic". Brought it back several times with the same problem. P0300 (random misfire) OBD code at 8000 miles. No repair as it is out of warranty. Limited to under 2400 RPM to prevent OBD code and failing smog test. Not the only problem, the others are drivability (lurching at low speed due to slop in the drive train), rear window blew up sitting in the driveway because dodge glued it to the frame rather than using a gasket, fan first position could not blow out a match, transmission failed (lost all gears except fourth) at 200 miles. Had to drive it 75 miles in fourth because the warranty would have left me in the middle of nowhere with no way to get back. No way I would by another dodge or deal with this "dealer".

Again ABC steps up to the plate! I had what amounted to a dashboard warning light (and some kind of high-pitched squeal from the engine), just prior to a long-distance trip with my BMW X5. Hugo and team moved me up the line to get it sussed out, figured it was a loose gas cap, sent me on my way under the quoted price and 24 hours ahead of schedule. I trust these guys - TRUST. Robert and Ricardo went above and beyond my expectations. I wanted to compare the Yokohama and Nitto tires side by side in person so I asked if I can order both tires and decide from there. No problem with a big smile was the answer I got and they had both tires at the store within a couple of hours and installed them that same day. They drove me home and picked me up when it was all done. They had the lowest price in Valencia who had good performance tire brand and sizes I wanted in stock plus "REBATES". I went back the next day and purchased another set of Hankook tires and once again, I wasn't sure if I should get the V12 or S1s. So they ordered both for me again and I decided to go for the V12s. To be able to compare 4 sets of tires side by side and only buy 2 sets without a deposit is unheard of these days unless the shop is confident that they can sell anything and everything the customer wants to see. I will surely be back just for this reason alone. If you're picky and love premium hi-end performance tires, then this is the shop for you. They surely have all the good stuff and the shop is definitely capable. A lot of negative reviews here and yet people keep on coming. They're busy for a reason. So go figure. Don de los Reyes

I became a customer for life for two reasons, Customer Service and Price. I've been to many repair shops in So Cal over the years and have yet to ever experience the utter dedication to a customers real needs. Not only the value, but the quality of that value. I don't know how they do it in this day and age, when anywhere else charges 30%-40% even 50% higher in labor. JT's Automotive offer the best labor rates I've honestly ever come across, and trust me I'm not one to write reviews. In fact I would rather keep the best kept secret for auto maintenance & repair in Ventura County to myself (because who enjoys waiting for anything...). However, I feel that I owe it to this shop to let people know how unbelievably cool it is to have a place to take my vehicles without any concern for anything. I know it will be done right, and fast, and for the best price anywhere. Hats off to all those guys over there, they make things not feel so bad, in an age of high priced everything... keep it up man!

Car died while driving called a few shops Oscar at Brakes Plus offer to call a tow for me they had it picked up and checked it out let me know my alternator was bad fixed it the same day I think I found a shop that I can trust for me and my family

HELLO MY NAME IS TOM. THIS IS NOT A SHOP YOU WANT TO GO TO. THE OWNER IS NOT A MECHANIC. I TOOK MY TRUCK TO TRANS PRO FOR A LEAK FROM THE TRANSFER CASE. IN ORDER TO FIX THAT YOU HAVE TO OPEN IT UP. FROM A DISTANCE I WATCHED HIM POWNED ON THE TRANSFER CASE. WHEN I SAW THE MECHANICS FROM BOTH SHOPS LOOKING AT HIM AND HIS OWN MECHANICS SHACKING THERE HEADS I KNEW THERE WAS SOMETHING WRONG. THEN I SAW THE COMMENTS ON GOOGLE AND YELP. I THOUGHT OF IT. I WENT TO PICK UP MY TRUCK AND STARTED IT. THE TRANSFER CASE WAS SHACKING SO BAD LIKE IT WAS GOING TO BLOW UP. I ASKED HIM WHY IS IT DOING THAT.HE SAID BUDY YOU ONLY CAME IN FOR A LEAK AND ITS NOT LEAKING ANYMORE. I HAD MY TRUCK TOWED TO STEVES TRANSMISSION AND THEY TOLD ME THEY FOUND SAW DUST AND WAS MISSING PARTS. IT COST ME 800.00 TO FIX RIGHT.JUST LIKE THE COMMENTS SAID (Beware of the Butcher of Oxnard) I THINK ITS NOT ON YELP ANYMORE. THATS NOT RIGHT FOR ONE REASON PEOPLE LIKE ME ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WE CAN TRUST.
