Engine repair service near Glendale, CA

I brought my 2007 VW Jetta in to Volkswagen Santa Monica with serious brake issues. Their estimate for "Premature Rotor Damage" was over $1000. I took it over to AE German, and had it fixed quickly for nearly half the price. I will be coming back next time I need a mechanic and stop waiting my time with over priced cheaters.

I CANNOT express enough how grateful the guys at American Tire Depot have been to me. As a single woman who knows virtually nothing about cars, I am so grateful to these gentlemen who have treated me in the same manner that I know they would want someone to treat their mothers, wives or sisters. They have kept my older car running and pieced together many times without overcharging or even charging me (for the small things) at all. I've also seen them do the same for men as well. My husband previously brought our cars in for service and was always pleased with the work performed and the integrity of the owner. Since my husband passed away, I am now responsible for bringing in my own car. I feel very comfortable with the quality of the work performed and the honesty of the station's owner.

Nick the owner of this shop worked on my 1994 CAMRY very dissapointed with service. He said he replaced the rack and pinion and come to find out I took it to another mechanic and he said that this part was never replaced.In total he charged me over 2600.00 for a motor replacement and he had said it was from Japan and come to find out it was from a junk yard also what kind of mechanic does'nt replace the transmission gasket when they repalce a motor price for gasket and labor was $400.00. and my car is still parked in my drive way leaking for about a year and tree months. I've tried to contact him several times and still has not returned any of my calls. Truely upset Im looking to go to small claims.!..H.A.
